    You guys have the most talent, but I looked at the schedules today and my god, Nebraska's conference schedule is pretty much a joke this year.

    did they miss that PAT or was it blocked? Missed it to the left. I really don't know what to say anymore. Might be time to hold open tryouts or something like Texas Tech did last year. The thing is he's a really good kicker, or at least has been. INT ISU! Starting to get good. I have no confidence that Iowa State will keep it up on the road, but I'm really enjoying this so far.

    true, but an epic meltdown by mizzou was worth it. I hate Nebraska precisely because I'm a Mizzou fan. Nebraska is not good this year, but apparently Mizzou is worse. Wonderful. I don't think Nebraska is that much better than us. I thought we were about even coming into the game, and I still think that after last night. What a miserable night though. Had a chance to be probably the greatest game I've ever attended just in terms of the atmosphere. Thursday night, ESPN, against a huge conference rival. Pouring rain and cold. No audio or PA. Power out throughout the entire city besides the stadium and campus hospital. Damn. Mizzou still has a good chance to win the North, but it's going to take some serious work now. I thought if we could split the Nebraska-Kansas games and the Oklahoma State-Texas games, we could go 10-2 and probably win the North. I figured we'd beat Nebraska and probably lose to Kansas, and beat Oklahoma State and lose to Texas. I have very little confidence we'll win @ OK State next week, and suddenly we could be looking at three straight losses and probably an 8-4 record.

    I doubt Berry will be the first pick in the draft. Is he even that great of a prospect? Absolutely. Berry is the best safety in the draft and fairly easily the best safety in the NCAA. He's a fantastic player on one of the best defenses in the league and he's a big part of our defensive success. For what it's worth, Monte Kiffin said he'd take Berry with whatever pick he had, even #1. It's really not worth anything, since he's his coach. But seriously, I'd have zero qualms with the Bears trading up for Berry.

    it doesnt matter where OU is ranked, everyone knows they arent going to make the championship, and they'll be out of the top 25 if texas beats them. even if they win, it'll all even out as the year goes on and unbeaten/1-loss will start jumping them as conference play continues. of course, if mizzou wins the north and OU beats texas and mizzou has to play OU in the big 12 championship again im going to jump off a bridge.
