  1. I'm not against this necessarily, but I would've preferred an OBP-first guy.
  2. All he does is dance around and get tackled for a two yard loss. I'm not all that impressed.
  3. Man, winning is awesome.
  4. Don't disagree with you there. I'm just glad someone has stepped up. I thought that guy would be Iglesias, but since he's MIA, it's nice that someone else has done it.
  5. No one's saying he's the second coming, but he's stepped in quite nicely and has shown he can be a factor catching the ball and on returns. What's not to like.
  6. The fact that his contract expires after this year makes me way more open to the idea of blocking him from a competing NFC team (especially the Viks), and especially if he only costs a 3rd, 4th or 5th rounder
  7. That should do it!
  8. Man, there must be an invisible brick wall in front of the net when Toews shoots. This hasn't been a great third period.
  9. We've been dominating on the offensive side this entire game besides that one quick Edmonton push. This team is so much fun to watch when they are pushing like they do on the offensive side, and when they're doing that they're tough to beat.
  10. I miss Khabi
  11. That wasn't good.
  12. Since I don't know much about the NHL in terms of backup and prospects, how does (or did, I guess) Niemi project? I know he's 26 now, so he's not necessarily a prospect anymore, but was he a guy who projected to be a decent, almost-everyday goalie in the league, or was he seen as a backup when he came in? I'm just curious if he's actually a viable option as a starter on this team or not.
  13. I don't think it's going to happen, but I'd be for it. How much would it take? I have to assume it'd be less than what it took to get Braylon, considering he's 26 and TO is 35 and just has a 1-year deal. I wouldn't want to have to give back a WR though (well, not Hester, Knox or Bennett anyways).
  14. well, Chase was on the 53-man roster for week 4 because their second string QB was somewhat hurt, and now that he's healthy, they cut Chase and are going to put him back on the practice squad.
  15. I hope they both get hurt.
  16. Now I haven't had a chance to see every game this year, but it seems to me that Jonathan Toews has pretty much been a non-factor so far. Obviously it hasn't been a huge deal, and we all know he'll get things going (and when he does, this team might score 8 goals a game), I just hope he starts showing up on the offensive side soon.
  17. SEABROOOOOOOOOOOOOK
  18. That shot off the post? Can't tell how far behind the online radio feed is. That's the one.
  19. holy [expletive].
  20. Assuming Dez Bryant is out, I like Missouri's chances to keep it close and maybe pull out a win on Saturday at Okie State. If that Nebraska/Texas Tech game was in Lubbock, I'd like Tech's chances too, but they probably won't win in Lincoln. And Kansas should just lose in Boulder because I need a good laugh.
  21. I miss Khabibulin.
  22. will your traveling fans rush the field then too?
  23. WAIT DID THE #12 TEAM IN THE COUNTRY JUST STORM THE FIELD AFTER BEATING AN UNRANKED TEAM
