  1. I'd hate to give up Sharp, but Versteeg I could easily live without. I'm extremely interested in seeing what it could possibly take.
  2. no one uses more words to say less than lovie smith
  3. I felt that if they didn't fire Lovie then they'd bring Turner back anyways. I can't see them bringing in a new OC for 2010, then if they underachieve again, having them fire Lovie and hiring someone new, who will then bring in ANOTHER new OC for 2011. I just have a hard time seeing them having three offenses in three years. They've done it before. (Shoop, Shea, Turner) Man, what a miserable trio.

  5. SUCK IT DETROIT YEAHHHHHHHHHHH GREAT WIN
  6. also cutler is going to miraculously end up with a TD:INT ratio slightly over 1
  7. woo looks like the bears are going to cover
  8. How do you usually spend your Sundays? In three months we can spend it watching the Cubs!
  9. Vasher down. In other news, the sky is blue, grass is green, and the earth rotates around the sun.
  10. Earlier in the season I was convinced that Forte's problem was 100% on the o-line, but since Kahlil Bell has been able to come in and run decently in limited action kinda makes me feel that quite a bit of it is on Forte.
  11. I feel much the same way. Fortunately, 3 of the top 4 South teams are home games this year, and I think there's 9 wins out there for us if they play like they have since the Oral Roberts game. Yeah, I think our defense will help us knock off a Texas or Kansas (or some other team that is obviously better than us) at home. No matter what, I'm infinitely more excited about this team now than I was about a month ago.
  12. I'd be thrilled with 11-5. I think something like 9-7 with a win in the Big 12 tourney gets us into the dance, but I'm still not sold that this team is consistent enough on offense and away from home to pull off a 3rd place finish.
  13. That's exactly what I was going to post. Whenever I see pictures of that video board I'm convinced the entire thing is Photoshopped.
  14. good win. keep it rolling.
  15. on a side note - how the hell does huet let that in?
  16. keith tkachuk just scored a goal off his face
  17. That was an impressive move by Sopel to avoid the headshot
  18. man our PP has been terrible tonight.
  19. Teams can come out and try and smash us all over the ice for the first period or so, but all they are going to do is wear themselves out. This is a perfect example of that. The Hawks are too well-conditioned. Teams will wear themselves out trying to wear us out, and we'll end up dominating the last period+. I love it.
  20. Steeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeg
  21. oh yes. absolutely.
  22. jesus christ how did they not score
