  1. Grady Sizemore is gonna get me off on the right track.
  2. My perfectly worthless astronomy class takes a backseat to the Cubs on this day. :D I can't skip class tomorrow, but Friday we're skipping class and cracking open some Old Style for the home opener. :D
  3. My god...I was so in love with that team. What an amazing year. I can't wait until we duplicate it (with better results of course).
  4. Oh Cubs. How I often criticized and swore you guys off this offseason, claiming that I would not care about you this year, I'll be back when there are people in the front office that want to win, etc. However, as the weeks went by, and the spring drew near, I found myself coming back to you. How I love you Cubs. A new year, a new team and more [probably false] hope that this is our year! Go Cubs!
  5. Fixed, I think. :)
  6. If they subbed Jacque Jones in the deal instead of Murton, I'd be all for it. Good joke anyways MLBTradeRumors.com
  7. I do the same thing. I close my eyes and pick some random team by dragging down the list, then I pick a player off that team.
  8. Everyone is for trade, I have an abundance of 3B (Chavez, Ensberg, Crede), and I need a Catcher and a SS upgrade. Throw some offers my way.

  12. Why would I worry? It'll be good for the kid to get his first career W against the Cardinals.
  13. I'm in as Cubbies75. I'm going to look so good in my new Cubs hat.
  14. << Mine! John Mabry looks like a cartoon character. http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/players/mugshot/ph_118065.jpg I will have nightmares about this guy. http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/players/mugshot/ph_460590.jpg Blanco looks like he was just asked a really difficult question. http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/players/mugshot/ph_111072.jpg
  15. Just so you know, Furcal suffered back spasms tonight. I wouldn't trade Tejada that quickly.
  16. As he should. In terms of how the entire Snyder situation and the whole hiring committee thing was handled, I disagree. But in terms of how our sports teams (minus basketball) have performed the past few years, I agree.
  17. At once game in 2003, during batting practice Lenny had fielded (it probably just hit him in the leg or he slipped on it), a ball that had come into the outfield. He pointed at me in the bleachers, and tossed it up to me. Lenny Harris forever has a place in my heart because of that. They can sign him all they want, :-D
  18. 1. Ryne Sandberg 2. Sammy Sosa 3. Aramis Ramirez 4. Manny Ramirez 5. Nomar Garciaparra
