  1. I think LSU could very well beat either of those teams, if they could overcome the lack of experience. LSU wouldn't stand a chance. UNC had a better Davis in Sean May along with FAR superior supporting players. Illinois played a better Glen Davis down to the wire against a team with FAR superior supporting players. LSU couldn't handle either of those teams' guards. I think Arizona, Oklahoma St., and Michigan St. of last year would win it all as well. I'm not gonna go back over my Washington/Illinois game review again. If you didn't see it, it was one sided foul calls against Illinois. If you did see it then you're a pac-10 homer/illinois hater. Statistically and athletically speaking, I think LSU matches up with these teams quite well. Glen Davis is no Sean May, but he could still play quite well against May, and I think he's better than Augustine. Darrel Mitchell is their Luther Head/Deron Williams/Rashard McCants, and is solid all around. Tyrus Thomas is a freak of an athlete. If this team stayed together for two or three years, I think they'd be just as good, if not better, than the teams in last years championship game.

  3. Villanova is playing some of the stupidest basketball I've ever seen.
  4. Sumpter being out all year really hurt this Nova team.
  5. Thanks a lot Ray, keep your head, this is the biggest game of your life.
  6. In the pool at my dad's work you get a first-round game, and the winner of that game is your team throughout the tourney...I have Villanova, but their lack of height in this game really scares me. If you make the Final Four you win money, so I need them to pull this out.
  7. Gotta hit your free throws...
  8. Alright let's be honest...how cool is this thing: http://graphics.fansonly.com/photos/schools/gema/galleries/mascot/gunston-lg.jpg
  9. UConn falls for the pump fake every time.
  10. Well apparently Alden is keeping his job: http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/news/breaking_news/14193044.htm
  11. Hopefully GMU can put this behind them and focus in OT, but I think UConn is gonna run away with it.
  12. Gotta make your free throws...dammit.
  13. The press conference is being streamed live through CSTV, once it's over I'll post if there is anything interesting. If anyone wants to watch just go to the Mizzou basketball page and there is a link there.
  14. I'm pumped. We are stepping in the right direction, we're gonna get some great recruits in the next few years, and hopefully we'll be back in the tournament in no time. Anderson is going to bring in some great, athletic kids, and we're going to be competitive again in no time.
  15. Anyone have the over/under for how many times the announcers mention that Big Baby is 310 pounds?
  16. UConn and Wash are playing like it's first to 100. The pace of this game is incredible
  17. You mean when teams win and celebrate together? I meant that go down on the court and cry (with tears of joy). Okay, I see what you are saying. Usually that happens with the entire team though. I don't know I just think it's different when teams win and celebrate together, then when teams lose and all the players kinda go their own way. I see what you are saying, I just think that kind of behavior is disrespectful.
  18. You mean when teams win and celebrate together? It's a team sport, win and LOSE as a team. Everyone loses, it's embarrassing and disrespectful to make a scene by yourself. Get back with your team, and congratulate your opponents. There is nothing wrong with crying after losing a heartbreaker, but show some respect for the other team that played just as hard and pulled out a close victory.
  19. The situations aren't comparable at all. Do you think in the same situation that Redick wouldn't be crying on the court? Crying and hugging his coaches. For what? Four years where he was great, but not good enough to get his team over the hump. Couldn't do it again tonight. Couldn't happen to a nicer jackass. I could never give my respects to JJ Redick, when all he does is get the typical dookie calls, look smug while doing so, and also bitching about every call. I guess going out with tears in his eyes. At the bowling alley tonight, the comments were much harsher than my jj tirade. Good riddance. At least Morrison showed up for his team tonight. At least man up and walk off the court with your team. There is no need to make a big scene, I just find it disrespectful to the game to do that. It's poor sportsmanship. I don't like JJ Redick at all, he's one of my least favorite players of all-time at his level, but at least he went out like a man.
  20. Oh you ignored me? Damn. I'm sorry, I don't like Redick or Morrison, but I can respect Redick, especially after tonight. When he was taken out when he know he was done, he cried, but he hugged all his coaches and teammates, and watched LSU win the game with respect. Morrison is always making a spectacle of himself on the court, whether it be hitting himself in the head with a ball, or collapsing and rolling around on the court crying. In my opinion thats not respectable at all, to the game, his teammates and coaches, or his opponents. It's okay to be emotional, but keep it under control and show some respect for yourself and the game.
