  1. :?: detroit and dallas play every year on thanksgiving, but they play other teams. *gazes at the screen blankly* I, uh, pretty much completely borked that one.
  2. I think they were just looking for some kind of reason why he might have sat still for awhile afterwards, while it seemed like everyone else was reacting immediately.
  3. Nah, watched it all the way through. At first, I thought it was just going to be a re-hash of what they did with the "don't blame bartman" piece from a few years ago. Later, I realized they had some interesting new material to present. I think ultimately it was a nicely done 30 for 30 piece. Some of these have been interesting to me, and others I've just let pass by. Obviously I'm biased, but I enjoyed this one. I really feel bad for Bartman, even more than I did before. I can put myself in his shoes, easily.
  4. Damn. Detroit vs. Dallas. The game we all used to roll our eyes over on Thanksgiving is actually one hell of a matchup. Whodathunk?
  5. The guy who came from 15 rows away just to hurl insults and wish death upon him was sickening. He's sitting there, years after the fact, with that dumb smile on his face. Don't you realize what an evil [expletive] prick you are, you dumb ass?!?
  6. Bwhahahah. Yeah.
  7. It would be a great thing for the Cubs to win it, and the next year have a huge Bartman return game, kind of like Buckner.
  8. Yeah, Billy Buck's still a Cub to me.
  9. The Alou piece was good. I like how he's still hoping we win it, because that might stop people asking him about the play.
  10. Hahahah, what the hell is this crap?
  11. But that's the thing. We took the lead in that game. There's no reason, or excuse, for not winning game 7. We should have held that lead and won the game.
  12. He can do nothing. He's tried to do the only thing he can: the silent treatment. To this day he could probably net a nice paycheck for an in-depth interview.
  13. I change my opinion on this. They're going into more depth than I remember seeing before.
  14. I need to change the channel, and can't.
  15. Really? Can you allow me a little hyperbole just this once? In this thread? Jesus.
  16. Wilbon chimes in with the old I-know-it-doesn't-make-sense-but-to-hell-with-it argument.
  17. OK, this really is just piling on. There have been 20 documentaries that re-count all these events. ESPN sucks. Screw you bastards.
  18. I'm watching this. And yes I'm wallowing in my Cub misery. And yes I'm drinking.
  19. Conference schedules start, people. It's time for WAR!
  20. It's because they are the Vikings, and God hates them. It's written in the Bible.
  21. One more game in week 3, and a good one. Boys against the fiesty, Sexxy-Rexxy Skins. Rex has his troops driving early.
  22. Well they better. We've got two undefeated teams and a bunch of other wild card likely clubs. It's not happening if we fall this far behind.
  23. If we lose this game, we'll be 1-3 with 2 much better teams ahead of us and a competitive conference. I'll say it right now: win this game, or season over.
  24. This just seems like a guy who is frustrated with a bad season. Pretty understandable, IMO. I'm pretty frustrated, too.
  25. Win or lose, there's no way the Steelers claim they are a top team being tied with the Colts with 2:09 left. They just don't look very good to me right now, period.
