  1. This is another one of those "I don't like his personality so I'll find whatever flaws I can with him" meatball arguments, isn't it.
  2. Or that talking to his family on the phone doesn't have quite the same effect as physically being there with them after what was clearly another incident of traumatic weather...? That's just crazy talk.
  3. or the Saberhagen one I presume they were large deals that Bonilla and Saberhagen elected to spread out over the long haul after the fact...but still.
  4. They dial up 3's too often. I'm disappointed they could just shoot like that consistently. We should have been able to stop that crap. Whatever, let's just close this out and move on.
  5. Seriously, what's up with this?
  6. Thank God this team finally woke up.
  7. Yeah, one of the things that has been missing are the great blocks like that.
  8. Now we're in some serious crap.
  9. Noah's 3rd does not help, however. Yeah. That's unfortunate.
  10. Good, Boozer got his 3rd and is out. That helps us.
  11. It's true, they do have an insane amount of junkies in that city. Beautiful and fun town, but absolutely littered with junkies. I wondered if he was just taking pot shots or what with that one. I know very, very little about that city. I never see many junkies, but the city is well known as the "Amsterdam of North America". It is a beautiful town. I wish I could trash Vancouver as a city, but it's actually pretty great IMO.
  12. I'm trying to think of a busier sports Tuesday for an all-4-major sports Chicago fan. I'm coming up dry. I'll catch portions of this one, somehow.
  13. It's a bad matchup but we won 3 games with it. Sure, we have some difficulties but they can be overcome, and we can still win. The ultimate bad matchup is Rose vs. anyone on the Pacers team. And that one favors the Bulls.
  14. Just win tonight so we can move on. It's time to move on.
  15. at least it's not cleveland Or Dayton, for that matter hey wait a second Yeah! There's the ..... And the..... Uh, ?? There's a UDF or two!
  16. I don't know, you can spin this a number of ways. But he's got a team whose will is, let's see, perhaps not the strongest. And then he goes out and makes a litany of excuses for their [expletive] play. Nevermind Edler (I think) intentionally smashing Bolland's head into the glass, or Torres not getting suspended. Anyway, if things go south early tonight for them, don't you think it will be in the sisters' heads that their GM blamed the refs, and this isn't their fault? I think that's true. There's another side to it, a possible backlash when you do something like what he just did. I definitely think if the Hawks score early it's going to be hard for the Canucks to avoid collapsing like a house of cards. There's so much pressure on them right now, and frankly they've responded to pressure terribly over the past couple seasons.
  17. It's probably all part of the plan. If they can whine their way into an extra power play or two, then mission accomplished.
  18. Wow, that's crazy talk. More like Mike Gillis, unhinged.
  19. This Pena character is starting to fall short of expectations, gentlemen.
  20. The sad thing is I've heard a few different radio hosts/callers complain that his numbers are "soft." And of course, that he's "only good in April" and that he's "way/vastly/significantly/etc. overpaid." What on earth does that even mean? Are they imaginary hits, or something?
  21. Throw it in the dirt or something. Want the go ahead run here.
