  1. Man I hope to hell I’m wrong about Loveland. I really do.
  2. Mostly the 2nd part for me. There’s still a lot of untapped potential with players coming out of college. The better teams make the most of what they get.
  3. I don’t think it will unless Warren tanks out though. As a pick I can’t see a world where you take the injured guy who is ranked lower by just about everyone over the higher-ranked healthy guy. But no one will really care if Loveland actually is good.
  4. Poles got an extension. Through 2029. Lord have mercy. They needed to align HC & GM at some point though. So they are stuck with each other. And we are stuck with them. I hope BJ can lift this team out of the cellar but there are real headwinds here.
  5. I held my tongue on draft day but that was so bizarre. Plus Loveland had a very serious shoulder injury. It was a layup pick. You take Warren. A child could make that pick.
  6. Drops will happen though. I get those were bad. I don’t think we just expect perfection and calculate stats as if receiving was 100% as a base expectation.
  7. I guess that’s all we can really look for with this bunch. Is the QB looking more comfortable. Does the offense look like it is making progress.
  8. Good to know we drafted a mega punter.
  9. Nobody even followed the WR in motion.
  10. Absolutely. I’d prefer he does.
  11. I don’t know if the defense has quit or if they are just so outclassed that they literally can’t do better. Probably a little of both.
  12. Lions fans booing because they’re OK with a QB being clobbered in the head. Nice.
  13. I must admit, I’m tired of waiting too.
  14. I see other teams bring in a new HC and look way better than this immediately. I know there are many factors involved but BJ doesn’t have a HC track record to fall back on. He needs defense and doesn’t have it. He gets some time to show what he can build but the optimism will sour if results aren’t seen. Probably sooner rather than later.
  15. Yeah I optimistically said 4-13.
  16. Yes, but very little faith they would get it
  17. Loveland wasn’t the best TE on the board. Classic baffling Bears pick. What a joke.
  18. They come right out and false start. This isn’t good enough I don’t care if it’s game two.
  19. It’s a get right game for the Lions and they’re getting right. best that can come from this season is to install a pro caliber offense and then fill holes in the off season. Poles isn’t the right guy to do that though. how do you get to week one with a crippled secondary?
  20. Yikes. Unfortunately I think there’s a real good chance. Not a lot of weakness on that team.
  21. Hopefully the league has made some adjustments to him and he'll come back down to Earth. I would enjoy that.
  22. This feels like the Soldier Field project to me now. The Bears hammered away on that project for years and wound up with the mistake by the lake. A spaceship that landed inside the old stadium grounds and costed a ton of money and has been a terrible venue for a generation.
  23. You don't remember the old ESPN boards? This was a troll post. I came in hot saying Counsell was a really good baseball player. You posted a whole bunch of stats proving he was just a guy. I wouldn't give up struggling to prove you wrong.
