  1. Even if it happens it’s unlikely they are done scoring
  2. Typical Brewers at bat. Spoiled a bucket load of pitches then a hit.
  3. So much for the Brewers being rusty.

    NFL Week 5

Does anyone else like these bye weeks where you can just watch football with little or no emotional investment? I do.
  5. Not chasing is kind of their thing.
  6. Agreed. I’m looking forward to next year in that regard. There is a lot of crying about that call today as you’d expect. I’d be really PO’d too but also, there’s 8 goose eggs on the board heading into that inning. A single bad call doesn’t happen in a vacuum. The Padres put an awful lot on their star players to produce and 0-11 just isn’t gonna cut it. I know it’s really easy to say that when your team won though.
  7. They must have solid info from the doctors that he simply can't do it safely.
  8. It feels like the Cubs have been fighting through injury after injury vs. other teams to get where we are. I'm not sure how it shakes out next year and beyond. But you'd think with Steele and Horton added to the mix with what we have, 2026 looks to be solid... barring injury and that's of course key to everything..
  9. I mean, every game is incredibly important as you know.

    NFL Week 5

I’m convinced Fields would have been OK with a good coaching staff that could develop him properly, like what was done with Jordan Love.

    NFL Week 5

You always regret it when you don't make it. I didn't watch this one. Waaaay to high on the Cubbies yesterday.
  12. I will forever love Green for that post game presser. I love the meltdowns. And he registered one of the best ever. It's sad though, that game was probably the end of his career, at least in the NFL. I'm old enough to remember that he coached at Northwestern too.
  13. That insurance run was the Brewiest Brewer run you’ll see from the Cubs. Solid win today! Pitching is gonna be tough just about every game so making an adjustment to get those HRs, then scratching the insurance run across was just great. Pitching was obviously top shelf too. Let’s put it away. No need for a game 3.
  14. Former NFL QB Jay Cutler reports to jail after as part of DUI plea deal - CBSSports.com
  15. For the longest time I thought we got screwed.
  16. If he's working or some crap like that he needs to get his head in the game.
  17. Time to roll out the big guns and take these dudes down.
  18. Yeah my real problem is they aren't reporting on BJ's body language.
  19. I saw that interview. I heard her as simply making a statement that he should change what he's doing. She either simply got out of her lane, or needs to do her job better. Johnson may not have heard the exact words but her way of saying it was dumb. He shouldn't apologize for a reporter's question which was delivered poorly. Shouldn't even be asked about it afterwards either. And ESPN needs to find more important things to report on or trim their staff.
