  1. That's great
  2. The thought of possibly being freed from accidental exposure to America's Funniest Home Video re-runs is very enticing.
  3. I did not know this. Good lord. They don't require a half-decade to rebuild either.
  4. I remember hearing most of that months ago. It's hardly breaking news.
  5. Why are we failing so badly to match pitching prospects with our position prospects? It obviously wouldn't hurt so bad to lose on Tanaka if there were others coming up.
  6. I've heard zero indication Price is now a target. Prospects? Which? If they start spending their blue-chippers then their entire plan, as stated, is [expletive] horse crap.
  7. Yeah, I still think the Bears would need an additional edge rusher with Bennett. He's never been a 10+ sack guy. He's a pretty good all around guy though, probably give you about 10 sacks, as he has share a lot of time his entire career. But I'd like the Bears to find a potential 12+ sack edge guy at some point in the draft. Unfortunately, I don't think there are very many of those guys in this draft. If Emery finds a 12 sack guy this off-season he's a miracle man.
  8. He doesn't like the cold yet he plays for Seattle? Or is he just saying he had no choice last off-season but go there and will go somewhere "warm" this off-season? it's not very cold in seattle It's not warm, either. It's the perfect climate for fat people. Yeah, except the entire downtown is built on a steep hill. Fat folk will liken it to hell.
  9. It's not required, but if you try sooner than that you might not be able to sustain the success and instead you'll be terrible for five years. In order to avoid risking five terrible years, we must have five terrible years. That's known as rationalization.
  10. Let's just blow this joint. Once and for all.
  11. @ davell No way. If you're going to crawl into a hole just because one signing doesn't yield instant gold, MLB front office is not where you belong
  12. So north of $30 mil/yr when you add it all up. Whoa.
  13. Apparently resetting the luxury tax didn't mean that much to the Yanks
  14. Good Morning WHY IS IT A GOOD MORNING, BECAUSE YOURE GOING TO THE YANKEES? IS THAT IT LOL
  15. I had a feeling after the reported Diamondbacks offer and the Cafardo blurb that bidding "could reach 120 million" that the final numbers may be a bit lower than everyone's expecting. But it only takes one. And hopefully it's the Cubs. Only if that's really what is needed
  16. The NFL is full of them. And he's also really good. I hate Pete Carroll, but I wanted Seattle to win. I like it when the usual suspects aren't in the SB. Okay, Sherman really is a piece of work. Wow. you've seen interviews like that after someone makes a game-saving play to send his tam to the super bowl? i don't think there are words for that kind of jackass. i have to say that i AM really interested in what's going on at the da bum's house right now. can we unban him for tonight? 2 words come to mind, actually Roid Rage
  17. Holy crap what the??
  18. Denied. Pete wins
