  1. Yeah at this point I would just like it to be a rivalry again and not simply being owned every year by the Pack. Last game was a competitive game. A good first step.
  2. He tried to pull a power play on her, and found out who was holding the cards. Epic Fail of the highest order.
  3. Moore charged with felony home invasion, stalking, and break/enter. Total meltdown. It’s difficult to understand. Married, 3 young kids.
  4. Years back I was a purist. I’m done. Give me that megadome destination facility. I have my memories of snow fights in the stands at old Soldier Field. It’s enough.
  5. This is gross. Dude. Keep your pants zipped.
  6. Great point. I never thought about that. It’s football. There are a limited number of data points to work with.
  7. Thats definitely true.
  8. They still are the “princess.” Because they have the fanbase. It’s not all about Rodgers. And LaFleur has a strategy here. Put the holding into the officials’ minds so they call it more. I suggest BJ start doing the same. The whining has a purpose.
  9. I really think Notre Dame needs to join a conference. I’ve always felt that way. The ND AD is coming from the perspective that the ACC benefits from ND greatly. OK, agreed, but that’s not special. Lots of conferences benefit from their high profile teams. Actually ALL conferences do. So this just proves what I’ve felt all along. Join a conference or deal with a conference going to bat for their teams even if it means pissing you off. It reeks of ND’s superiority complex and frankly they can stew in it. Join an effing conference.
  10. Gotta cost a lot of money to send an entire team & staff to a bowl too.
  11. A better first half, and we are probably driving down for the win instead of driving down the field to try to get a tying touchdown. We need a pass rush and a more consistent pass game. I’m thinking next year, maybe at home in a couple weeks we get ‘em. It’s not about the Packers getting worse it’s about the Bears getting better.
  12. Jalen Hurts looked about as far away from a Super Bowl champion QB as you can last night.
  13. All in rooting for Indiana, if for nothing else to show it’s possible for new blood to come all the way from the nether regions of a conference and win it all.
  14. Not why he is paid to be the guy. He came up empty and the bears caught him more than once rushing up field leaving his gap open for the run. He’s great don’t get me wrong but this wasn’t a memorable game.
  15. That’s a big reason I’m hopeful for more consistency next year.
  16. At this point, I’m doubtful. He hasn’t done anything to make me think he’s capable of 4 good quarters. I’m thinking we can expect to see it after an offseason but the rest of this season we will have to win with a hot/cold QB. Bears have shown they can do that though. This is what Caleb can give us this year. And yeah, some of it isn’t his fault but the point is, what we have seen so far is likely what we will get the rest of the way.
  17. I’m still right where I have been the entire season. There are no “gimme” games. Not Cleveland and not anyone. The Bears have done a great job winning games in BJ’s first season in spite of the deficiencies on the roster. But it’s still a deeply flawed team and it’s the NFl. The margins are extremely thin. The Bears will need to put up a good performance for 60 minutes against Cleveland or we will be feeling just like Bucs fans feel today.
  18. We go from #1 to #7 in one loss. Cray cray
  19. The thing that gets me is everyone knew the Bears should run first. And by everyone I mean garden variety fans like me. There’s shuffling things up but then there’s times when a clear strategy is apparent. I trust next game will be different. In a way I’m glad we play them again in 2 weeks. It’ll give BJ a chance to make adjustments and see them in action almost immediately.
  20. I understand the sentiment that we came back and played right up to the end so it feels better. But terrible 1st half gameplan, still not getting 60 minutes from Caleb, and a DLine that is a no-show in pass rush just isn’t good enough to win a game like this. In 2 weeks it’s going to be the same game different city. I don’t want to see Caleb dropping back every play unless the run game has been established and I need to see a better pass rush than tonight, which was abysmal.
  21. Can someone please tell Caleb it’s OK to run for the 1st down when it’s there and you MUST have it?
  22. I do not understand why he didn’t
  23. Ben was definitely out coached even though he was better in the 2nd half.
  24. Unreal. Why not run for it?
