OK that’s it now I know we’re not scoring. -
Fun times. Going to go from the best record in the NL to out of the playoffs, having scored one run in the final two games, both at Wrigley.

Why does it seem like it’s automatically the “right call” to pull a starting pitcher in a playoff game like this? I have way less confidence that our bullpen will hold them to one run.

Darn it. Crew won’t lose this weekend and I cringe at the thought of a tie breaker game followed by a WC game. -

Earlier this year I would have laid money on the Cubs erasing a one run deficit like this. -
they’re down by 2 runs after 5 innings in the first game of the series, have you weirdos ever watched baseball before Yes. I’ve noticed the Crew are 7-3 in their last 10 and DET is 3-7 I can’t see DET winning one of these games. They’re checked out and a bad team regardless.

They also are dealing with fewer critical injuries than we are. This isn’t the Cub team we thought we would have, in no small part because of top players going down.
