  1. Gonna have to somehow win in spite of Chase today. Although that was a pretty good one-handed snag.
  2. He better stop forcing it to his first read or it’s not going to work out. And his accuracy is horrible
  3. For me the Dolphins game stings the most. Osweiler, good lord.
  4. if the vikings had lost last night, i'd agree but if we lose this one and minnesota beats new england our sphincters will be pretty tight. now that GB is all but out, I'd like to get MN out of the picture as well. But how would MN beat NE? The vikings haven't looked all that special this year. Last nights win against GB is probably more an indication of how bad GB has been playing. Isn't their secondary riddled with injuries? Yep, it is banged up. They did draft secondary though, and they let Ha Ha Clinton-Dix go because they saw more upside in their new guys. I think Tramon Williams in the main vet now and he's been moved around.
  5. even when he had guys open Rodgers was overthrowing them. His knee is supposedly fine, so why the bad throws? I really don't know :) His history would suggest it's not only his fault, but he definitely doesn't look like himself. He looked like he was moving fine, but there were some baffling bad throws.
  6. Seemed like every other play a Packer was down on the field being tended to. Even with Rodgers there's only so much they can take. Just about every fan I speak with up here wants McCarthy gone. Fine, but that team is a M.A.S.H. unit right now and I don't see how he can really compensate for it.
  7. The Giants beat 2 terrible teams in the Bucs and the Niners. For all the Lions' woes, they lost a bunch of games against good teams recently (CHI x 2, SEA, MIN). Their season is tanked but it wasn't because they blew games against chumps. It's a tough call for me with Mitch. The Giants are one of the two most winnable games that would put the Bears into the playoffs. But the conservative approach is the right thing to do from a health standpoint. Chase played well last week but would it continue at NY? Impossible to say; not enough data. Also could the Bears D just win this thing on their own? Possibly. Ugh. I guess I fall on the side of having Mitch sit.
  8. 2 blocks were absolutely blown up on that run. I agree with you but Jesus.
  9. Needing to play mistake free football or you lose. Pretty tough.
  10. Agreed. The PI is the call I have a problem with
  11. How much of Mack's disappearance is his injury vs. teams adjusting to him? It's hard to believe how fast the D went from awesome to terrible but here we are. That's the biggest thing I see, not Mitch's play. The D is going to see this same offensive scheme for the rest of year, but not every team can execute it like the Pats. I see a mix of good and bad teams left on the schedule. Win the next 2 and maybe the confidence level rises enough to beat the Lions @ home, leaving us 6-3 heading into a tough game vs. the Vikes. I didn't expect much yesterday, so I guess the Bears outperformed. I'm much more upset about the Dolphins loss and right now I'm dumbfounded by the cliff-drop of the D over the past two weeks, even with Mack's injury.
  12. Might help if receivers could catch
  13. Football is so dumb
  14. Maybe he can? Maybe so!
  15. That was pretty damn cool
  16. Yeah Fouts, Trubisky doesn’t know he can’t run for a living.
  17. The Bears will see that quick slant three-step drop offense for the rest of the year.
  18. The short passes were Green Bay’s method of beating the Bears week one. Other than tackling better, can the Bears do anything to adapt? We’ll find out, that’s for sure.
  19. Still trying to wrap my mind around the defensive performance today...
  20. What a frustrating loss. Ugh
  21. Anyone dislike that?
