  1. I will never be convinced Tee couldn't have made it in the NFL. He just got stuck deep in the Steeler QB mess while they still had Kordell. I'm pretty sure he played in the 4th quarter of the Packers-Raiders game, that Monday night a few years ago. The kid had some talent, just had fairly poor accuracy for an NFL QB and I guess nobody wanted to put in the time necessary. What an arm he had though. During the 98 season, he threw a pass around 60 yards in the air to Peerless Price while falling backwards. His arm rivaled JaMarcus Russell's.

  3. Another freaking good throw that should have been caught, but of course, wasn't. This is making me sick.
  4. So far Peyton's been good. Hopefully some of the good throws will start being caught. EDIT: So much for that.
  5. And stay that way until baseball season starts.
  6. Good job by the Colt D. Sets up fourth down. EDIT: And then they didn't show up on fourth down or the next play. I'm frustrated.
  7. Despite the lack of overall production, the Colt offense has looked quite good today. Peyton's been very accurate.
  8. And Vinatieri hit it! 7-3 Pats. Great effort by Addai on the previous run, too.
  9. I'm starting to really dislike Ellis Hobbs.
  10. I think he got it on the second effort.
  11. Not a typical bounce of the ball, The Clutch Tom Brady willed the ball out of the Colts' hand. Plus, Peyton choked there, didn't you see? Nice. :D I try :D
  12. AFC has been far superior to the NFC over the course of the year. Doesn't mean the Bears can't beat either of these teams, but as a whole the AFC has been better. Agreed. But that's not the Bears fault. I've heard all year that the NFC had no chance vs. SD, NE, Baltimore, or Indy.....including the Bears. That has never been true. I agree, the upper end of the conferences are never very far apart in terms of competitiveness.
  13. AFC has been far superior to the NFC over the course of the year. Doesn't mean the Bears can't beat either of these teams, but as a whole the AFC has been better. I think the Bears were the only NFC team that wouldn't have been a clear underdog in the Super Bowl. I think the media would have played up the "magical" year for the Saints and they wouldn't have been a huge underdog. But otherwise I agree.
  14. AFC has been far superior to the NFC over the course of the year. Doesn't mean the Bears can't beat either of these teams, but as a whole the AFC has been better. Agreed, the AFC has been much better than the NFC, but that advantage is equalized in the Super Bowl. It's not the entire AFC playing the entire NFC anymore, it's 1 team playing 1 team, and the differences between the 3 teams left are slim. That was my point. The AFC is much better top to bottom, but the difference between these teams is marginal.

  17. Agreed-that's a huge break for the Patriots as Addai had plenty of chance to catch that for a huge gain. Yeah, the announcers are saying it was too long, but I strongly disagree. The ball was securely in his hands. No good reason to drop it. He got two hands on the ball at the same time, which means the ball wasn't thrown too long. Harrison and Wayne would have pulled that in. Oh well. Exactly. Colts dropping like flies, Freeney left and now Gary Brackett.

  19. Addai's gotta catch that ball.
  20. Seymour left shaken up, but it didn't look serious
  21. Pats gotta punt after just one first down! Nice return by Wilkins to the 29.
  22. Boomer even wore a Belichick sweatshirt.
  23. Still can't believe you did that.
