Four minutes until gametime. I'm pretty freaking nervous right now. :shock: You shouldn't be nervous, you guys are the underdog. No pressure on you. Yeah, people tell me that but I don't believe them. We do have something to lose, we could be knocked out of the tournament. One minute. GO VOLS! True, but you gotta enjoy the moment. Plus you don't have to be nervous, try playing in a national tournament. That makes you nervous. :lol: Oh don't worry, I'm enjoying the moment quite a bit. Plus, if we can get by OSU we get a team we beat by 15+ earlier in the year (granted at home). No reason why we can't make the Final Four. :D

I'm pretty freaking nervous right now. :shock: It's a lot longer than that until gametime for you guys-the start time for the game now appears to be 10:17-30 minutes after the first game at that site ended. :cry: :cry: :cry: That really sucks. I'm quite mad right now because I'm going to get even more tore up.

KU definitely caught some breaks. It happens in every game. Does it suck for SIU? Yeah. But that's how sports work. That's how sports works, but that doesn't mean the refs shouldn't be called on it. Exactly-by a day or two from now, it won't matter-but it was pertinent to a game thread like this is because it affected the game. Edit: BTW, I'm not saying that Kansas didn't deserve to win-they definitely could have won even if those calls were reversed-it's just not known for sure which way it would go. Yeah, I didn't have a strong preference. The upset would have been great but my shredded bracket has Kansas advancing so it didn't really matter to me. I just think refs should be called on blatantly bad calls - unless they're against Florida. :wink:

Yeah me too! Stupid ass econ exam. I HATE YOU ECON. I'd be careful with that kind of language around here... If it makes you feel better, it hates me too. It's too late. You already got Raisin going. My prediction for tonight: Tennessee wins by 9. I'm sure econ hates you too. Yeah, I think Tennessee can pull off the upset. The Volunteer love tonight is great. :D Hopefully we can at least give a good showing. My pick is Tennessee by 3 and Oden - who will have another great game by the way - fouls out in the last few minutes.

aTm deserved the higher seed so I don't feel bad at all. Let's go Fightin' Acie Laws. Agreed. Don't want to get into too much of a debate here but Memphis had the higher RPI (Mem-8, TAMU-17) and a somewhat worse strength of schedule (Mem-75, TAMU-57). TAMU's SOS is better but neither is in the top 50. Also, Memphis' non-conference SOS was 22 and they went 11-3. TAMU's non-conference SOS was 141 and they went 12-2. I've got to give the advantage (albeit slight) to Memphis.

Will we be locked into the UNC game that strongly? There doesn't seem to be any more regional interest for it than Florida. Seems like they'd cut out if that was a blowout. The others I can see though.

All three of the schools I cover are on spring break so I've got nothing to cover the rest of the week. Makes me available to watch tonight's game, but I'm a little pressed to fill my pages.
