At how much it would've taken to get Tejada and his salary? I'm not so sure. I thought the Stros gave up a lot of quantity, but not quality. Could be remembering wrong, though. You pretty much hit the nail on the head. That's what I thought. He or Renteria would have been terrific. Braves and Tigers seemed to have some back room dealing on Edgar, though.

Really? He's been pitching fine. I'm confident in our bullpen as long as Howry does not pitch and it would be nice to keep him well-rested. Moot point now I understand the need to keep him rested, but he's only at 82 pitches. If he can get through with a fifteen pitch inning in the seventh, then he could still be lifted under 100 pitches. I don't think that's overworking Zambrano at all. I guess your right. I though we has up near 90 or 95. Maybe you were right after all... :?

Really? He's been pitching fine. I'm confident in our bullpen as long as Howry does not pitch and it would be nice to keep him well-rested. Moot point now I'm very confident in them too, but Z is pitching too well to pull him with less than 90 pitches.

would not be much, if any, of an upgrade most likely. \ Sure would be nice to try and give him a shot, instead of basing all our conclusions on his past I'd be ok with Cedeno, but I don't think he's the answer at short either. None of us know if he is or isnt, but we all know for an absolute fact, that Ryan Theriot is not the answer. Hence why I'd be ok with Ronny, but not chomping at the bit for him to get playing time. Im chomping at the bit of seeing somebody different given a chance. We have seen Theriot enough to know hes not the answer, lets try something different. I want to see someone I feel will be successful. That is neither Theriot nor Cedeno.
