  1. Please Hardy, please. That would be awesome.
  2. Thomas on the phone...
  3. I tried not to get too irritated over whoever the Titans took, but I'm starting to feel sick. All receivers still on the board - no good reason not to take one.
  4. Two-back league, my friend. Two-back league. Exactly. Excellent pick for Pittsburgh.
  5. I think the Titans should look to trade down for anyone interested in Mendenhall. Not crazy about Devin Thomas - moreso than James Hardy, Limas Sweed, etc. I just want a WR. I'd prefer Thomas, Hardy, Jackson, and Sweed in that order, but want one of them. Thomas sounds very talented, but raw - exactly what Hardy is, except Hardy gives us the huge size no other receiver (that's good) on our roster has. But yes, wide receiver please.
  6. Mine too, probably my 3rd favorite UT player of the past 25 years. behind major applewhite and who else? 1 - Vince Young 1b - Major Vince is the man.

  8. He's very fast and that's his only skill.
  9. I'm terribly afraid the Titans will take Jones, Mendenhall or Chris Johnson. Hope I'm wrong... chris johnson would be so funny You don't understand how pissed I'll be even if we go running back...much less if that tailback is Chris Johnson.

  11. Panthers give up this years 2nd and 4th and next year's 1st. Horrible trade for the Panthers.
  12. Will they take him though? I thought they are pretty sold on Croyle. Neither is much, if any, better than Croyle. The Chiefs taking one of them would be a bad, bad move. I'm not really sold on Henne, but I like Brohm quite a bit. I like Brohm alot too (I still think he's the best QB in this draft), but Croyle is not enough worse than Brohm to justify ignoring other needs.
  13. This just highlights the oddity of the Panthers selecting Stewart over Mendenhall.

  15. I thought about that too, but would Jerry Jones take Mendenhall over an Arkansas RB? I don't think so. Jones may fit the Cowboys better, but Mendenhall's better. Should be interesting.
  16. They would've taken Felix otherwise, I think they'd love it. I've got to think someone's going to trade back up to get Mendenhall any minute now though. Damn it, this makes me feel even worse about this Stewart pick. Felix and Mendenhall are different styles, though. Mendenhall is very similar in style to Barber, Felix is faster and more elusive.
  17. seriously, i would rather have brohm and this probably cost them a fair amount there have been more trades than I remember Yea, very trade-laden draft.
  18. Bad move by the Ravens. Even if somebody stole Flacco, Brohm is still available. Would the Cowboys take Mendenhall should he fall to 22?
  19. Nope, traded with the Ravens.
  20. I like this pick. Bush and Fargas are nice running backs, but I don't think they're franchise type guys. As for the current pick, as others have said I think it will - and should - be Dorsey.
  21. Schefter reporting the Falcons will take Ryan. Bad move, if true.
  22. I don't know what the infatuation with Ryan is. It must be his strong arm, but he's not very accurate. Many a team has seen a busted pick when drafting based on flashy skills like Ryan has.
  23. what the hell happened to him? He's still around, but his flaws have knocked him down a bit. Honestly, I think both he and Ainge are very underrated in this draft. Both should be much higher on boards than they are, in my opinion.
  24. I would be shocked if the Ravens weren't willing to give up value to get Ryan ahead of the Chiefs. I just see no good reason to take a player at 3 when there are players just as good (if not better) who will be available in the second round - Brian Brohm, Joe Flacco, etc. oh yea, the ravens don't have a third round pick they can trade and they have not been willing to give up their second round pick You raise a good point, but Adam Schefter just reported on NFL Network that the Ravens are, in fact, trying to swap with the Rams to get Ryan. The intrigue builds, my friends... that would be nice Chris Mortensen just reported that the Ravens may dangle Terrell Suggs to move up to get Ryan... that would be a horrible decision by the Ravens. Matt Ryan is simply not that much better than Brohm, Henne, Flacco, Woodson, Ainge, etc.
