I was just reading some SI article about the possible beginning of a Cubs dynasty, and this last sentence niggled me a bit: "Will Nov. 2 be remembered as the first night of the Cubs’ dynasty?" First off, I don't like to tempt the fates in that manner. Confidence is one thing, but I don't like to be premature. But more than that, I thought, "Now wait a minute, it really wasn't November 2nd. The game wasn't over until after midnight." So really, all of yesterday's celebrating was the FIRST day. Today is only the second day of the post-curse/drought era.
