  1. Not with the Indians running like they do. Javy looks lost at the plate, but he's still money with his tagging. Plus, Schwarb's bat will be back.
  2. Javy ends the second game at Wrigley. Good horsefeathering times.
  3. I agree. He did it as good as pre-stroke Harry would have done. Was v disappointed in Bill Murray last night.
  4. The secret is that Travis Wood just isn't very good. Yeah. Okay. Sigh. This blows.
  5. Perhaps they'd been playing over their heads? if you "play over your head" to the tune of 103 wins and a +252RD, that's not over your head, that's just who you are. Then I don't want to see whoever these imposters are again.
  6. Wish I could have heard it. I'm watching with Mariners fans who are still bitter and shout at him whenever he opens his mouth.
  7. That's THREE woulda been dongers. At least Riz got two bases on that one.
  8. Lightning strikes twice. Grimm gets through an inning without a run scored.
  9. Baseball is slightly better with a large Mai-Tai. Can anyone explain to me why TWood didn't bat for Lackey and then pitch instead of Monty? I was thinking Cleveland had seen a lot of Monty lately.
  10. In retrospect, it could've been worse: Soler charges the ball, it gets by him, and two runs score. What a shitty game. I want our sticks back. And for Lackey not to suck donkey balls.
  11. The Indians had themselves in perfect positions so many times last night. I found myself thinking that they've had comparatively oodles of time to watch tapes and otherwise study for this series. Wish the Blue Jays could have snagged at least one from them. I bet the Rangers were pissed - best team in the AL, and they go three and out in the first round. THAT would be a crazymaking result.
  12. Today is my b/f b-day and we got invited to watch the game and nosh on great food at the home of his fmr co-worker and friend. Wife is a great cook and a bit of a delicate flower. The guys HAVE to do well, or I'll risk biting my tongue off so that I don't offend her and risk embarrassing myself. :-)
  13. Incidentally, did the Indians hit anything to LF, much less anything tricky? Edit: oh yes, a couple. One I now recall Zobrist had to run a ways to get.
  14. Given that at least one other person (yours truly included) wondered the same, nope, you're not alone. I was really thinking (hoping) JayHey would be in RF tonight, bat notwithstanding. If I ever catch Soler lollygagging to a ball hit in RF or hesitating his run out of the batter's box again, I'll tap Jeff Gillooly to take him out at the knees.
  15. Geez, I'm so depressed again. Learn me to get overconfident.
  16. Got that right. I should've remembered: dongs are overrated. In baseball and life, fellas.
  17. Swung at ball horsefeathering three and four. horsefeathers Javy.
  18. I haven't laughed so hard since Randy Rainbows take on Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Wait, was that an E3?!
