Let Lester go 120+ if that's what it takes to get through 8, imo I disagree. This race could come down to the wire -- I'd rather not see Cards see Lester one time too many before that, with this series already won.

Truthfully, though, I don't think it would hurt any for Schwarber to make a little adjustment. Might be easier on the ribs, too, if he were closer to the plate, not having to reach to Timbuktu and possibly risk straining.

His commentary on the replay of the Castro homer last night was great. Castro: McCarver: "Wacha doesn't even turn to look at the home run." Wacha: He also said Rizzo had had testicular cancer. It was Hodgkin's lymphoma, right? Yep. Well, obviously, McCarver just doesn't give a [expletive].

I'd like to know how to do that. I've tried in listening to (then it was) WGN while watching the national visual coverage, but the radio stuff always lagged just enough behind to annoy me.

Let's hope that continues over the next 30-45 days. If the Cubs have an epic post-season implosion this year, I have vowed to eat birria at the neighborhood Mexican place every Opening Day until they get the full NL pennant. I figure it shouldn't apply to a September swoon -- those are practically commonplace (before now -- cross fingers). Wait. Why are you talking about a Cubs collapse? How long have you followed this team? :-) I don't party till stuff is official.
