    I'm glad the Astros moved to the AL West. The Central needed to be cleaned up, and that's one less team to hate. OTOH, I can dislike them if I'm rooting for the Mariners.

    Not if the Cubs can get 2 out of 3 this series. Even if we do that, they still clinch if whoever's next on the elimination totem pole loses a game. Every year I think I like the Cardinals less. It's like the Yankees with dumb luck instead of a fat payroll.

    I know what you mean. At the beginning of this week, I was hoping for the Cubs to get just one of the games at Busch. But still a disappointment. Now let's hope the guys feast on the bottom feeders, as opposed to allowing them to spoil it.

    I told my b/f this weekend that my idea of Hell would be waking up with my bedroom all decked out in Cardinals paraphernalia and having people insist that I was a Cardinals fan no matter how much I protested to the contrary. He said that I should just give in to the inevitable and become a Cardinals fan. I tickled him because I couldn't in good conscience smack him. :-)
