It's never been that way, Kat. They went from a single WC to the current format. Well, I spent two summers in London, then Shakespeare in the park last summer. My bandwidth was devoted to acting, travelling, and survival. :-)

There are two wild card spots in each league now? I thought the playoffs was each league had a winner in each division, plus a WC slot for the second best record in all the divisions.
