    Which announcers? Yeah, the ones on FSN midwest. I assume it's Buck and the other guy? Anyway, good inning by Marshall, just wish he'd throw less pitches. Buck is the worst. No. McCarver is the worst (and its not even close, though Buck is bad as well) Buck is the worst PBP guy. Is McCarver the worst analyst? Worse than Joey Morgan? Yes. Haven't you ever watched Sat. baseball on Fox or the MLB postseason. That annoying, arrogant SOB with the worthless insight is McCarver. I think he's worse than Morgan. BTW, I know Buck is the PBP guy but I was referrring to the booth as a whole. McCarver is just horrendous. I was just splitting up the garbage. Together, there is no one worse, that's for sure.

    Except that's not true. Neifi had a sub .300 OBP. Cedeno now is better than Neifi last year. The bothersome part is that Ronny has 31 Ks to 7 BBs. That's exactly the same line as Jones. Except that Ronny is 23 and Jones is 31. Hopefully he develops more patience. And that line is still better than Neifi!'s 18 walks in 572 ABs last year. I think we can all agree that having these three folks in the lineup at the same time without Lee and with an eternally slumping Pierre is not helping the cause at all.

    So far, Cedeno's OPS is a bit higher than Neifi!'s was last year. Plus Cedeno is 23 and Neifi! is, well, old. I think I'd rather have Macias back than Neifi! I like the weak swings better than the swinging bunts.

    Olney probably talked to a peanut vendor at Shea and a urinal cake inspector at Yankee Stadium. While I doubt that Wood and Prior's value is at an all time high, I gurantee you that there are teams that would be interested.

    Neifi!'s OBP is usually near the Mendoza line, which a .200 avg! Neifi sucks. There should never ever be a reason Cedeno sits for Neifi! this season. If we were in the playoff hunt, maybe Neifi! could become a late inning replacement, but since we aren't, Cedeno should play as much as possible.
