    We can easily lose the division, we would have to really suck to lose a playoff spot. Look at the schedule. With the exception of Cinci, there are no bad teams. We cannot pad our wins with teams that sucked all year and then traded away all their good players at the trading deadline. Sorry. There will be no gimme wins, and no Z or Harden for a while. Milwaukee has been pretty good at beating teams they should beat, and if they hold their own against us head to head, they can easily take the central. If we don't make the playoffs, I'll be shocked and I think I won't be disappointed, because if we somehow piss the playoffs away, we weren't going anywhere anyways.

    Does Howry ever not suck? While I walked my dog, he allowed 4 runs. Why is that guy still pitching for the team? Just release him.

    I definitely think we make the playoffs this year, but the Brewers are far from done. They're 5.5 up in the wild card so it would be in Yost's best interests to not run CC out there for 115 pitches every start. He wore down last year and they need him healthy. And it's the Pirates. Let him throw one more inning, get around 100-105, and let the pen finish it. They have no intention or hope of re-signing him, so they are probably hoping he breaks down after the playoffs. I really wish Hendry could have figured out a way to get him to Chicago. We had no one in our system who could match LaPorta. Is he really that good or it a lot of it just that NL hitters haven't seen him before. Soriano seems to have a good handle on him.

    Seriously, I'm actually 100% for it. The home plate ump can drastically change a game, even if he's consistent. A ball or strike shouldn't be subjective. If we have the technology, we should use it.

    Whenever I happen to catch a game where Howry pitches, he pitches like crap. Or maybe he just normally pitches like crap.

    How did he pitch like crap. He faced 4 batters and struck out 3 of them. The ump and our hitting bailed him out. He could have walked in a run, then had the bases loaded with 1-2 outs.
