  1. Yes Arm fatigue is real thing and it along with other injuries are being used as load management, Players/teams BOTH can benefit. It's one of the talking points for the next CBA. MLB changing how teams are allowed to use the DL and roster sizes are a reflection of this.
  2. Not a fantasy. Arm fatigue , shoulder soreness and slow playing players rehabs are being used all the time to manipulate roster rules by teams to varying degrees and success. It's the game within the game.
  3. https://x.com/becerra_bsbl/status/2018384792182505832?s=20 Former Hawkins guy, velocity is back up. Would be an interesting depth candidate in Iowa.
  4. Damn at at 1 year 15M. I wouldn't have minded Mo starting the year at Iowa getting reps behind the plate.
  5. That early Tyler Austin signing to Major league deal seems even weirder now that Andjuar ,Goldschmidt, and Ozuna still don't have jobs. Scouting play by the front office.
  6. Heyman saying the Orioles are seriously considering adding Giolito. This is likely Boras pushing in for final offers on Valdez and Gallen.
  7. No but they are getting an additional pick from Tucker and the Dodgers,
  8. Haven't heard Giolito connected to the Cubs much.
  9. Marco Luciano hit the waiver wire for third or fourth time this offseason , would be fun lottery ticket if you can get him through waivers.
  10. Baseball is going to baseball and Shaw will end up with close to 500 at-bats.

  12. Chas Mcormick and Dylan Carlson ? Jed out here building depth love to see it.
  13. Love this. Plus defender who can hit for power and steal a bag. Likely beats Alacantra out for the fourth OF spot in spring.

  15. Mets could still sign Valdez now and have a heck of an offseason.
  16. Bobby Hill was going to be the greatest leadoff hitter of all time.
  17. Cubs are about 23M from the second luxury tax threshold. When Bob Nightingale prematurely reported Gallen signing with the Cubs he had the deal being 22M on average.
  18. If Valdez's market is really down because of the bad teammate stigma, maybe the Cubs bet on the highest paid manager in the game and the Cubs clubhouse to negate that.
  19. Rea is tradable before June 15 according to Arizona Phil because he was never technically a free agent if I recall correctly.
  20. https://x.com/TheCUTCH22/status/2013375412793925913?s=20 I always assumed he was going back to Pittsburgh ........
  21. Trent Thornton is a great get on a minor league deal
  22. I guess you're unfamiliar with NY media. It's still to this day a different level. A $50m dollar deal essentially replacing Pete Alonso is a different level of microscope. In LA he's joining the Beatles.
  23. Tucker might value Championships , LA weather and not having to be the guy over the Mets money.
  24. The Red Sox make a lot of sense for Shaw , he's from Mass. Is he enough to get Duran or Abreau? Either one of those Gold glovers in the outfield with Armstrong & Happ would be a pitchers dream.
