    The Tigers have acquired right-hander Chris Paddack from the Twins, per Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. An earlier report from Rosenthal and Dan Hayes of The Athletic said the two clubs were in serious discussions about a deal which would send a minor leaguer to the Twins for Paddack. The minor leaguer is catcher/first baseman Enrique Jimenez, per Robert Murray of FanSided. The Tigers are also acquiring Randy Dobnak in the deal, per Jeff Passan of ESPN.

    The Yankees are poised to acquire infielder Amed Rosario from the Nationals, per a report from Jack Curry of YES Network. New York will send right-hander Clayton Beeter and outfielder Browm Martinez to the Nationals in exchange for Rosario’s services. The Diamondbacks can get a better deal for Suarez than Will Sanders and Triantos. MC

    Phillies are paying 110% tax on the prorated portion of this deal so around $11-12 million. So they clearly liked what they saw in his throwing session and have ownership willing to spend to win.

    Surprised Jed hasn't pulled the trigger on a backend starter type yet instead of having Brown start tomorrow. I'm a firm believer Jed adds two starters , a reliever , and a third baseman at the deadline.

    Sounds like Dj is still willing to give it another go. He's not the answer at third everyday but he's an upgrade over our entire bench right now.
