  1. I wish I trusted are front office to make efficient roster moves but we did have Brujan on the bench all season.
  2. Would really prefer they keep giving long reps at third over Macahado a guy who will hopefully never see Wrigley in a cubs uniform.
  3. At this point Stroman would be a welcome addition. Verlander will likely get released by the Giants the coming days to pursue other options.
  4. Dejected. I'm embarrassed for this ownership team.
  5. The worst news of the deadline is not getting the SP we need or a starting third baseman, its that Hoyer got extended.
  6. Just a warm arm with a pulse at this point Charlie Morton or Justin Verlander even
  7. I thought Ozuna was headed to the Padres but Preller outdid himself.
  8. If the Indians are tearing it up shipping Kwan out today, is Jose Ramirez available..........?
  9. The throwing numbers are concerning but he's also working with a minor league staff. He has the arm.
  10. Stewart to the Dodgers , nice bullpen get for them.
  11. I think this Board undervalues Ballestros. With robo umps coming next season framing concerns are gone.
  12. Its has the same feeling as the Cubs offseason and not acting like a big market team but we still have time on the clock.
  13. The Padres if they keep Cease and Suarez are now the team to beat in the NL.
  14. Aren't the padres also looking for catching help? I could see them matching up.
  15. but if that Mid rotation starter isn't available you go get the guys like Sirokoa Charlie Morton types and the big bat.
  16. Seeing the price of pitching makes missing out on Suarez even harder to stomach.
  17. The Tigers have acquired right-hander Chris Paddack from the Twins, per Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic. An earlier report from Rosenthal and Dan Hayes of The Athletic said the two clubs were in serious discussions about a deal which would send a minor leaguer to the Twins for Paddack. The minor leaguer is catcher/first baseman Enrique Jimenez, per Robert Murray of FanSided. The Tigers are also acquiring Randy Dobnak in the deal, per Jeff Passan of ESPN.
