Well you know what they say about looking a gift horse in the mouth.... ANYWAY Cubs are planning on taking this series. I'll admit I was scared for a little bit but rumors of this man's demise have been greatly exaggerated. He goes against this guy: http://i.imgur.com/mL99cSg.jpg He was ranked 52 on Fangraphs Top 100 Prospects, throws a mid 90s fastball, and a decent curveball but none of that matters. The crowd demands dongs.

That could have gone better. Anyway so the Cubs look to avoid going under .500 again and the weather is shaping up to be horsefeathers. Lackey's past games in Coors have not all that well. 16.2 IP 17 ER 6 HR At least it looks like Todd Helton's family had a good time. The opposing pitcher is rookie Kyle Freeland who is lefty, throws low 90s fastballs, and doesn't strike out that many people. http://i.imgur.com/ajj6mi7.jpg The Cubs will dong this man into oblivion and we will rejoice once again.

They don't have similar repertoires, but in terms of consistency I think he bears a lot in common with Mike Wuertz. Just make sure to check back and let us know how much you end up losing on those July Cardinal weekend tickets. i mean, this series was supposed to be a premium one along those lines so It's a Friday day game in the 1st week of May and it is 40 degrees outside.
