    Andy Green trying next level tactics against Joey Votto. 7th inning, guys on 1st and 2nd, 1 out, and Votto up. Yates (Who has had a good year) gets Votto to 2-2 and then pulls him for lefty closer Brad Hand who was warming up very quickly. Hand walks Votto on the next 2 pitches. Hand gets Duvall to strike out but then proceeds to give up a grand slam to Scooter Gennett and then another HR to Suarez. He is probably going to get blasted for it but I actually liked the move.

    Yes. so when i think of rosemont it's more like big brand new mediocre chain restaurants and retail and stuff, not really mcdonalds and taco bell, which are pretty much anywhere Every other store will be a Jostens!

    No they seemed to have fixed that problem. They have the 3rd highest wRC+ against lefties this year. Dodgers at this point could have had rentals of JD Martinez and Darvish and pushed their WS needle basically into FU mode. Don't really think the needle gets moved all that much by doing that. Fine, the Fangraphs odds go from 19% to 21%. They have endless payroll. "We may have wasted another year of Kershaw but hey at least we have Alex Verdugo and all this money!"

    I was trying to come up with a reason to the question you asked. And I couldn't come up with one. The best I could do is that players either think they don't look cool or that it makes them uncomfortable because they aren't used to them. Either one is a lame reason. So, yes, put them on. Pitchers don't want to protect their brains because the Great Gazoo hat looks dumb. When you are pitching, hitting, or fielding I can understand not wanting to add anything that isn't 100% comfortable. They are running the base so who gives a horsefeathers. Anyway Boras already texted Kris and told him to put the gloves on.
