Remember those really weak lineups where would complain about 6-8, 6-9 in the order? This reminds me of those. Kluber is the kinda pitcher that could easily make our lineup look stupid. Despite the fact he is having a down year his FiP is pretty damn good 2.82

That is more than likely vs. LHP only. Russell is out with a Groin Strain and is Day 2 Day. That is more concerning for me as he has been very good as of late.

i can state pretty unequivocally that this is not true What is he? Good? This wouldn't be true. in 211 career innings, hendricks has 3.6 fWAR and a 3.62 xFIP yes, he's quite good especially when he's your 3rd or 4th best starter Straight from Fangraphs http://www.fangraphs.com/library/pitching/fip/ Excellent = 2.9 FIP Great = 3.2 FIP Above Average = 3.5 FIP Average = 3.8 FIP Below Average =4.1 FIP Poor = 4.4 Awful = 4.7 Okay so he is somewhere between Average and Above Average at 3.62 FiP thats not "Quite Good". I didnt say he was bad i said average.. turns out he is a little better than average but not quite above average..

Shelby Miller is a good pitcher. Too bad Hendricks is just average.. Miller vs. Arrieta would have been a good matchup.. ohh well

If Bryant needs to take an extended break (of the 15 day variety / precautionary of course) we may see Baez before September.. I know its the middle of a race, but a guy like that I wouldnt want to take many chances with. Rather have him rest a little and be strong in september than potential get hurt worse..

As stupid you guys make me out to be, I've made enough money so far this season on draft kings to pay for my vacation to Japan this winter. Maybe I'm lucky or maybe way of thinking/looking at things is a little different than most. Either way I'm just being real. If a cubby plays bad I'll talk about it. If they play good I'll talk about it. I'm not gonna sit here and ignore bad playing for the sake of hoping they do good. Reality is that everything has positives and negatives, it is what it is.

I don't ever want to see you list a score where the fewer runs are put first again. I don't care what you want Weird I didn't see you mention that Norris and Castellanos were going to take Lester yard. The premise of your "prediction" was Miggy and Kinsler having big nights. I referenced the 2 of the big names but also posted the link for a purpose. Lester is bad vs. The tigers. Selective reading is dangerous. Be careful if you sign some paperwork. I think it's the Orange in the uniforms that throws him off. Either that or an insane fear of tigers or anything related to tigers such as a team nickname. Lol could be that, but he has faced detroit his whole career as an AL guy maybe it's similar to throwing over to first base.. maybe he has the yips vs. The tigers.
