Lester has the winning experience in the post season and is the big FA for 2015 season. Salary set aside, I can see them choosing Lester based on his history alone. We will see in a couple months!!!!! Please NOTE i want to see Jake in that spot!! -

Thats my point I think Arrieta is teh guy, but the management will go with Lester. -

Lester is the big signing, the guy who is supposed to be the best guy in the rotation, Theo's winner from Boston.. I didnt bold the word salary... I said "History/Track Record in postseason, and Salary" Some people have selective hearing which can be mistaken for not hearing the context or missing part of the conversation.. But selective reading? lol c'mon! -
As much as I complain overall I am very happy about the position the Cubs are in right now. Question for you guys, who do you start in the one game playoff if the season was over today? My Pick (obvious i think) Arrieta -- But i think the Cubs/Maddon/Theo would roll with Lester due to his "History/Track Record in postseason, and Salary" What do you think!?

Hopefully Yeah. They sure are adept at hitting homers. God forbid they hit one in a [expletive] game sometime. i hope rizzo and bryant dont hit so many homers in the derby that they end up having nothing left for the games :banghead:

its the mental errors and gaffed routine plays. add in the ground ball machine factor and lack of hustle on most grounders and he is a loser. not a winner.

i know nothing about baseball so take this with a grain of salt, but i'd prefer better defense and massive power with lots of K's than a double play machine that makes lots of errors and occasionally gets a clutch hit.

Yeah, I agree. But because of the stupid rebuilding idea, this won't be the only pennant race this team is in, because those non-producing players should start producing. The frustrating thing is that the offense was supposed to be better than this. You call into sports talk radio , don't you? na but i've tweeted with those dudes before.

Haven't they been in more 1-run games than any other team in the league? How is that boring? I think for me because a lot of times when they win 2-1, I feel so mentally fatigued watching their offense fail time and time again that by the end it wasn't exciting but just taxing. LEGALIZE PED's ALREADY DONG BALL NEEDS TO RETURN TO THE MLB
