    Plus Hoyer is a journeyman who couldn't hold down a starting job in Cleveland. I'm inclined to think he won't remain this good for the rest of the season.

    If Garrrapolo was doing this, I'd be driving the release Cutler in the offseason bandwagon. So i dont get the difference. With Hoyer, this is pretty much his upside. If this were Garrapolo or Christian Hackenberg or whomever, the perception of further development and improvement would be there, merited or not.

    horsefeathers. I had the pleasure of meeting Fred back around 2004/2005 for a NSBB outing. He was a great guy and had a lot of insight about baseball. I will miss him.
