    I'd like to thank everyone who's contributed to these threads. It really is tremendous that we have a ton of knowledgeable posters who post on this forum regularly. All of the links, insights, scouting reports, and discussion have been terrific. Furthermore, the fact that we have a number of broadcasters and insiders who provide us with their own information and insight has only enhanced what we have to offer here. I really would like to thank everyone who has helped out around here, whether it's been editing the minor league posts, posting links, going to games and coming back with pictures and notes, or just participating in these threads. I figured this would be a good place to wrap up all of those discussions for this season. Think of this post as a catch-all for any questions, comments, or observations you have about the 2008 minor league season, whether it's Cub-related or otherwise.

    If Motte pitches in relief, watch for two balk moves he does. He comes to a stop twice in his motion, once when he brings his glove down and once when he punches the glove with his pitching hand. Drives me nuts, imo.

    Glaus injured his shoulder; right shoulder strain. It'd be a crying shame if he can't come back for the rest of the series.

    I will be curious to see an in-depth analysis regarding whether TLR batting the pitcher 8th was a good idea or not. It never struck me as being a good idea, but perhaps the numbers would bear it out differently?

    Remember the two games the Marlins played against the Expos at the Cellblock back in 2004? I say we have the Cubs and Astros play their games at Fenway, just for the heck of it. Who cares if the Red Sox are playing there at the same time? They can share!
