    Yep. They've had a ton of trouble with Iowa over the past few years (especially at Iowa), but after a vaguely promising start, the in-conference play has just been abysmal.

    Yeah, it's just that I have a hard time seeing Hill get outrighted to the minors and not have a team pick him up. He seems like such an ideal candidate for a change of scenery that I have trouble seeing teams like the Royals and Pirates not take a flyer on him. The guy has a boatload of talent and no obvious injury issues, plus he's already put up a good season in the majors. I just have a hard time seeing how someone like him doesn't end up on a major league roster somewhere.

    Unless I'm mistaken, Rich Hill's options are up and he has to be on the 25 man roster next season.

    Jackson can't be traded until one year has passed since he signed. Hence the "Jay Jackson TYPE" meaning someone similar to him in high A or AA that I could not think of off the top of my head. :wink: There aren't any. :(

    Do you have him in your top 10? yeah, i have higher hopes for him than guys like Flaherty, Rhee and Colvin I can see having hopes for him, but he'll be 23 and in his 3rd pro season to start next year without any time above Peoria. I mean, he's a solid three years older than Rhee, and Rhee was better at Peoria(although obviously the injury is a big concern). Plus the guy probably won't end up sticking in CF when all is said and done.
