  1. Can we just release the entire bullpen and bring up the AAA pitching staff tomorrow? What a [expletive] joke.
  2. This post strikes me as odd for someone with four posts who joined today. Yeah, I don't like him either. Ban him! He could be larhur reborn! That'd be fun.
  3. This post strikes me as odd for someone with four posts who joined today.
  4. Let's hope they keep that up and the Cubs do the opposite.
  5. You were right about him awhile ago when he was cubsin2009 or whatever the hell he was.
  6. See you again when you re-register, champ. Who was he? CubsGM. It's like he's playing hide and go get banned.
  7. People bitching about scoreboard-watching also qualifies as both of those things Both of you knock it off. we're not fighting, and if he wants to keep us updated on the cardinals game, that would be fine with everyone, i think. I just can't stand hearing "CARPENTER GOT A HIT ONLY THE CARDINALS PIXIE DUST" every time someone does something. It's awful and embarrassing. That's fair. I just don't want things going any further than that.

  11. In retrospect, moving Marquis was not a good move. However, considering he was mediocre at best while with this team and horribly overpaid, it was a great deal at the time.
  12. http://nbcsportsmedia3.msnbc.com/j/msnbc/Components/Bylines/mugs/MSNBC%20Interactive/msnbc_demarco_tony.thumb.jpg His mustache tells me he's trustworthy. Also, LOL:
  13. Carpenter pulled after 54 pitches. I'm hoping he was on a strict pitch count and it wasn't anything injury-related.
  14. That's the logical move at this point, especially if Harden ends up leaving.
  15. Dusty's not ready to conceed. Really though who would they sell? I guess Rhodes. Rhodes, Harang, Arroyo, Weathers, Cordero maybe? Cordero has a pretty bad contract. 09: $12m 10: $12m 11: $12m 12: Club option at $12m or a $1m buyout Yuck.

  19. Peoria's game was canceled. Looks like Flaherty's 15th HR is wiped off the books. :(
  20. Welcome aboard, by the way! :D
  21. If you want to get hyper-technical, we traded Jacque Jones, Omar Infante, Will Ohman, Phil Norton, John Koronka, Freddie Bynum, and Josh Harrison for Grabow and Gorzelanny. Oddly enough, I'd still make that trade if the Cubs had all those guys.
