  1. Honestly I will go Sherman to the Sea on Atlanta if Bryant doesn't play tomorrow now that I've shelled out for every game this weekend.
  2. Javy definitely doesn't know Francoeur's name
  3. Took the afternoon off to watch and got held up at work longer than I thought. Sat down when Baez came up. My bad on the first 5 runs.
  4. So we trade Arrieta for Miller and Chapman and call it a day
  5. i have one friend that is a Mets fan. He still thinks they are the better team. Please dong this loser so I can call my friend fat and stupid. Also, I hate my friend.
  6. Has there been anything on when Dexter is expected back?
  7. Time for Joe's binky Peralta to go. He's horrendous.
  8. Which for me screams mechanics. I honestly don't think it's injury because if it were then he's letting it drop his value significantly and I don't think Jake is going to do that with his one chance to get a mega deal just a year and a half away. Just glancing at Brooks Baseball. His release points seem fine when compared to last year, so that backs up the not an injury idea. I'll bet it's front side mechanics and hitters adjusting like they did to Keuchel. Luckily Jake has great stuff so he can re-adjust and stay in the zone and still beat hitters.

  10. Hopefully Jake can keep the pitch count under 25 with the bottom third of their horsefeathers order up.
  11. Just strike out Hamilton you bum. Edit: calling Hamilton a bum just to be clear
  12. Double clutch cost them. Should've gone home. Dumbass play all around.
  13. It's time to drop Heyward in the lineup.
  14. Yeah, however could we come back if Lackey gives up a few runs here against a pitcher we just made work his ass off in the first inning Don't talk to him about a comeback. 1-0 in the 1st is pretty much 14-0 to Rondon Fan and Cubs Twitter
  15. Prado will now take second on our noodle arm catcher
  16. Mattingly's mouth movement while he wasn't talking annoyed me greatly. Dong them Willson.
  17. This is stupid. Go to New York you schlubs
  18. He was nibbling with a 4 run lead to back to back hitters including a guy who's getting dominated in the zone every at bat with rare exceptions. He walks them both then grooves a pitch to Bour. That's not being competitive because at no point in the Ozuna/Stanton at bats did he remotely challenge. Unearned runs are an awful statistic because he created the majority of the traffic that inning himself and of course gave up the dong. it's kyle hendricks' game. it's what he does. maybe he did a little too much, but if he threw his 88 mph fastball over the heart of the plate the entire inning it would have been just as bad if not worst. like i said, he missed his spots a bit and then threw a bad pitch to bour. he also had an error and got squeezed on a strike three call that clearly caught the zone. it's frustrating, but it's baseball. Hendricks' being "competitive" means he's nibbling. He's not a pitcher that can challenge hitters. his command and control are good most of the time. unfortunately they weren't for much of the first inning. Totally fair. I was mostly just really pissed off for like 10 minutes.
  19. what do you mean "competitive"? he was missing his spots and was squeezed on a few pitches (most notably a strike three to Ozuna). ETA: All 4 runs were unearned because of the error to start the inning. He was nibbling with a 4 run lead to back to back hitters including a guy who's getting dominated in the zone every at bat with rare exceptions. He walks them both then grooves a pitch to Bour.
