  1. They sent Farrell down, right? 8 should suffice.
  2. Multiple runs in the first? Is that legal? He pissed on that ball. Hopefully he's telling Chili to go horsefeathers himself with his line drive and groundball approach.
  3. they were cheap as hell this offseason and they're already better than us again you are honestly insane what the hell is wrong with most of you jesus horsefeathering christ anybody who wants to bet against the cubs winning this division, i will gladly take your action at even money with no limit. pm me please. The Cubs will still win the division no question but boy is it cathartic to laugh at the on field [expletive] that has gone on during the games in the game thread.
  4. One day on my way to work when I was running late, I hit every green light through the University of Texas and made it on time.
  5. 538 now has us and the Cardinals with the same percentage for the division. Can't wait for more oppo single approaches tomorrow.
  6. this team is such dogshit right now. Cannot wait to score 7 runs against the Marlins over the next 3 games.
  7. He worked with Mac Williamson this offseason. Why are we supposed to care about or take anything away from 15 PAs Mac Williamson has had? You can see how he completely changed his batted ball profile in the minors too. He used to be a groundball guy and now that he's lifting the ball he was a monster before he died with a concussion. He also has the 3 hardest hit balls for the Giants since the StatCast stats were public. And I'm not specifically talking about Latta, I'm just confused by why teams hire guys like ARod discussed. They never hit with the current approach when they played so it has to be hard to teach.
  8. He did a hitting coach thing with someone earlier this year talking about how he should chop down on the ball. I wish Josh Donaldson would've overheard him and beat him to death with nothing but uppercut swings.
  9. Yes ARod, groundballs are the horsefeathering best.
  10. Latta's secret is just PEDs and the Dodgers won't let him go He worked with Mac Williamson this offseason. Did anyone hear ARod just openly admit Ken Griffey Jr and Edgar Martinez are stupid morons?
  11. Someone mentioned wanting Mallee back a few pages ago, I wonder why nobody has hired a guy like Doug Latta (Justin Turner's private coach) to come on as an assistant.
  12. I loved him as an analyst on Fox in the postseason but he's just playing the role of anti launch angle and the sonuvabitch hit 700 homers. I guess I haven't been paying enough attention because I don't get that feeling at all. Just listen to Mendoza make fun of him for not believing in launch angle. He likes bunts and "productive" outs
  13. The top of their order is up every [expletive] inning.
  14. In comparison to his counterparts like Ron Darling he's horsefeathering great We're never scoring again I loved him as an analyst on Fox in the postseason but he's just playing the role of anti launch angle and the sonuvabitch hit 700 homers.
  15. oh god I just realized the horsefeathering Marlins are in town tomorrow.
  16. The Yadi brings value to the team in unquantifiable ways is the most annoying baseball trutherism since Ichiro could hit 40 if he wanted.
  17. I’m only watching the offensive half innings. I cannot watch Lester anymore.
  18. I mean it's too early to say that's what's happening, but it easily could be. We invested a massive amount of resources in darvish/quintana/chatwood and they're completely broken walk machines. Yeah the stuff is fine or whatever, but I don't know how you can not be terrified by what they're doing, and by what ot means for the organization going forward if they dont turn it around in a big way. Because it's been a month and we're not r_mack. Honestly being reactionary in the game thread is cathartic and necessary before venturing onto twitter at some point in the evening.
