  1. Perhaps the VB’s let us sweep them to get us over confident to induce this slump.
  2. I mean yeah the error was the biggest play of the inning but he walked the leadoff man for the second inning in a row and gave up a sharp single and was charged with an earned run. Doesn't seem that unfair to me It was unearned
  3. Do you guys think KB ever hits another home run or is he now just a slap hitting leadoff guy going forward?
  4. Lol if the awful catcher makes a routine play the inning is over.
  5. 100% agree. It's maddening. I also haaaaaaate not throwing horsefeathering strikes even though I know it's hard.
  6. We should do the thing where we use the horsefeathering wind to hit a ball over that fencing in the outfield.
  7. It’s/they are insane. I don’t get it. The fringe has really stepped up their game. One guy who has now blocked me said the cubs should be going for their third straight World Series but Theo is a moron.
  8. Ventured over to Sharma’s twitter today. The fans in the replies to his tweets are a special kind of stupid. Cubs fans are a real treat.
  9. Oooooh ok. I was going to say even if you expand it to all non pitchers on the roster right now only 4 of 12 are under 100. But now that we got that cleared up I won't even bother mentioning it. half the lineup tonight has a combined sub-.700 ops, you know what i'm saying No I don't because there are better ways to determine offensive value than OPS. For example, wRC+. I even left the snapshot of the numbers up there in my response. Honest question, are people completely unaware of Jon Gray being an ace that happens to pitch in Coors? We smoked him once and he's gotten us thus far tonight. It horsefeathering happens.
  10. A lot? Of the 8 qualified hitters 2 are under 100 for wRC+ and one of those guys is Rizzo. They have a lot of bad hitters *today* Oooooh ok. 11. Well Knebel is dead and their offense sucks so the backend is Hader and they won’t have many leads. So, I’m aware Knebel is injured. But he’ll be back in a month or so, and will probably be very good again. And while the Brewers aren’t great, there will probably be a game or two where the Cubs are trailing late in the game. And to try to score off of those two will be daunting. Kinda like the Reds. They suck even more. But IF they have the lead in the 9th, the Cubs are basically helpless against Iglesias. Same with the Pirates closer. (Did he change his name again) Good closers are good? Ok got it. Hader gets to pitch once a series because Counsell and the front office are morons.

  13. 90mph off the bat for Arenado. Even when he's not at Coors he gets Coors homers.
