So, perfect for the Sox? Exactly my thought. This is the type of move little brother franchises make and think they're being awesome and right in the Sox wheelhouse.

    he was probably being shielded a lot more in those stretches though. dude's got a 158 wRC+ and .405 wOBA through 132 PA right now. basically playing everyday. oh and his strikeout rate is 19.7% LOL. I think parts of it are definitely real (he’s definitely not as free swinging anymore like the K rate shows) but he still isn’t walking at all so he’s going to have to keep getting a lucky with the batted balls to stay all-star level productive I’d guess He's not really getting lucky though. wOBA of .396 and an xwOBA of .419 coming into today.
