  1. Most teams that don't score runs lose you jackaloon.
  2. http://northsidebaseball.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=50889&p=1939039#p1939039 this was his last post under his old name that was about the 2008 team lol yeah and we got swept in the playoffs. no world series. I don't even think you know what the hell you're arguing about. I've never been a part of such a circular discussion in my life. The Mariners won 116 games in 2001 and didn't win a World Series, so what the [expletive] is your point? Well, you see , he was worried about a '69-style collapse for the '08 team, but they still went to the playoffs but they lost in the playoffs and they didn't win any playoff games so somehow in his head it all comes out to being the exact same thing. I think I am more impressed by the leaps in logic than anything.

The Mariners won 116 games in 2001 and didn't win a World Series, so what the [expletive] is your point? Are you mad that the Cubs are the 4th best team in baseball? Are you mad that it rained and something happened to the rotation or something? Are you mad that even the best teams in the league lose? You are either the stupidest poster on this site or the biggest troll on the site.
  4. http://northsidebaseball.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=50889&p=1939039#p1939039 this was his last post under his old name that was about the 2008 team lol Being that dumb should hurt. I am the most pessimistic person I know and logic still comes into play at some point.
  5. Counting today, Haren has faced Locke, Jungmann, Sale, Williams Perez, and Bumgarner Since the deadline Hendricks has faced Garza, Cain, Samardzija, Miller, and Peavy Please stop, you have no idea what you're talking about Sure he does. The Cubs should have done something to change time and alter the universe in a way where Arrieta and Lester were always facing the 1 and 2 of whoever the Cubs happened to be playing. I don't care what the excuse is, nobody is this stupid I think we all just keep feeding the troll. people are this stupid i believe that part is genuine. I guess, but he only shows up when the Cubs are losing. He then posts the most ridiculous things often contradicting his previous idiotic post with his next idiotic post. I felt bad at first because people piled on but now I get it...literally complaining about rainouts and completely random events as if they were within the control of the organization was the last straw, because NOBODY can be that stupid can they?
  6. Counting today, Haren has faced Locke, Jungmann, Sale, Williams Perez, and Bumgarner Since the deadline Hendricks has faced Garza, Cain, Samardzija, Miller, and Peavy Please stop, you have no idea what you're talking about The only good pitcher Arrieta has faced in the 2nd half is Shelby Miller and Cole Hamels The only good pitcher Lester has faced in the 2nd half is Kluber. The rotation got all messed up when maddon started lester on short rest after the PPD game vs. the pirates. Welp. This is it. The dumbest thing I will read or hear all day.

  8. jesus [expletive] christ I got about halfway through that and just stopped reading. When the cubs matchup the other teams 1st / 2nd starters vs. our 4th / 5th starters,.. i dont care about L/R matchups the best hitters need to play regardless of splits.. Gotta score runs, lots of them because the cubs starters will give em up. Ok. Sontensei is Harold Reynolds. When 1's and 2's go against 4's and 5's you're at a disadvantage? Get the [expletive] outta here with that analysis.
  9. What in the [expletive] are you talking about? I've heard of people liking the sound of their own voice but not whatever this is that you have going on. There was no point to this post except to be a miserable [expletive] because it's the only time you show up.
  10. http://m.cubs.mlb.com/news/article/145671128 Something called a Lyle Spencer has decided that Bryant and Russell are pretty good at this baseball thing you guys. I think the Cubs might be onto something with them too.
  11. I think it means they're facing a LHP and still want to give Fowler another day to ensure he's 100%. It's also a day game after night game so a good opportunity to get Schwarber out of the lineup. But Schwarber is in the lineup... I think it's more like [expletive] it. It's going to be tough to win anyway so let's throw 4 good hitters out there and see what happens. MadBum is known for getting blown away every 5 starts or and this will be his 5th start since getting lit up by Texas on July 31. Cubs win 11-6.
  12. If the Cubs are up 13-0 and Arrieta is still in I will lose my ever loving mind. He'll finish it off in 76 pitches. Oh then no worries. Bryant is going to be the first righty to hit it into the bay and I'm not talking about him hitting the ball the other way either.
  13. If the Cubs are up 13-0 and Arrieta is still in I will lose my ever loving mind.
  14. Are people really worried about Schwarber or is this everyone trolling Sontensei
  15. I can't wait to have a completely unwarranted hatred of Tommy LaStella because this should be Baez's spot.
  16. I hope that guy gets hit by a bus leaving the stadium because this is going to turn into a double and I think it was out.
  17. That wasn't his fault but he does nothing smoothly.
  18. Kinda helps when they blow an easy DP Yeah, that happens in baseball games sometimes. And it is probably why you shouldn't act like a 2-run lead is insurmountable. Against a guy that has good stuff, it might be. They had a chance in the Chris Sale game too but it never felt close. You cannot seriously be mentioning Shelby [expletive] Miller in the same breath as Chris Sale. That is [expletive] absurd.
  19. It's all good. The Braves are done scoring today.
  20. 7.61 K/9 this season it's not great but it's not like he can't strike people out It's the same argument I had with Brett. It's not terrible but his swing strike% is like 4th worst among qualified starters. The K/9 stat can be really deceiving. I like Hendricks a lot, I just know there are going to be frustrating unlucky starts because he allows contact. Also, a DenoDong would be the tops here.
