  1. It almost makes you feel sorry for them. That's some pretty abysmal stuff.
  2. Because it's playing on someones Ipod and all 25 people on that side of the ballpark can hear it.
  3. Jesus, are there even 500 fans there right now?
  4. Sori did that every day in 08 and 09 as well. He always takes a trip to cage w/ the hitting coach before gametime.
  5. I support this idea.
  6. Yea the weather looks a lot better now than earlier in the week. There is a chance for severe thunderstorms though so keep that in mind from the 2008 derecho that hit Wrigley http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yy_oX6SURRE&feature=PlayList&p=37DC100163AEFAA9&playnext=1&playnext_from=PL&index=34 That was an amazing night. The way Berkman reacted at one point was hilarious. They even resumed the game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ml2zI5XlwQ I can think of a lot of adjectives to describe that night. Amazing? Yeah, that's not one of them. Also, let's see if you can spot roast in this video:
  7. I haven't heard that in ages.
  8. His name is spelled Jaime, and my personal favorite thing about him is that they pronounce it Hy-May. Rare to get the doubly douchey misspelling-a-name-on-purpose-to-be-different combined with attaching a douchey pronunciation to it. I already can't stand him. Jaime, pronounced HY-may, is not a misspelling, purposeful or otherwise. It is a very common name in the Spanish speaking world. Yeah, pretty much every hispanic person i know misspells my name (Jamie) Jaime because it's so popular in a lot of spanish speaking countries. In fact, one of my professors who is from Mexico still calls me Jaime from time to time after a semester of telling her it's pronounced otherwise.
  9. No, your tickets wouldn't be good for both games. Only the game that is technically the 'make up' for the previous one. And I'm sure they're going to do absolutely everything to get it in considering the Dbacks only come to town once. Also, it seems like wrigley doesnt like to do their DH's the day after the rainout if they can avoid it (logistical nightmare) so if there's a series when they're in Milwaukee or somewhere close and there's a mutual off day they'll try their damndest to do it then, I'd assume.
  10. :-)) [expletive] I love zambrano
  11. Changing field. There will always be a need for news and professionals to report it. Or so I hope
  12. Hey Magdal, where'd you go? I want to hear your opinion on how Pujols' "falling off" is going?
  13. Definitely. Lou's hung over and Marmol is the only name he can remember
  14. Damnit, Wells. He sat down for quite a while between innings.
