His name is spelled Jaime, and my personal favorite thing about him is that they pronounce it Hy-May. Rare to get the doubly douchey misspelling-a-name-on-purpose-to-be-different combined with attaching a douchey pronunciation to it. I already can't stand him. Jaime, pronounced HY-may, is not a misspelling, purposeful or otherwise. It is a very common name in the Spanish speaking world. Yeah, pretty much every hispanic person i know misspells my name (Jamie) Jaime because it's so popular in a lot of spanish speaking countries. In fact, one of my professors who is from Mexico still calls me Jaime from time to time after a semester of telling her it's pronounced otherwise.
