None of the bears receivers had anyone within like 5 yards of them at any time during that drive. What the hell were the Lions doing? -

...yeah. Anyway, Heading to the 4th, it's now 44-0 Vikings. Favre is over 300 with 4 TD now. Peterson is still only at 53 yards but he's done it on only 9 carries. What a freaking beatdown.

Wow. With as much as people talk about this being a passing league, there are some crazy rushing numbers going on this year. It's crazy because it's not true. I know the undefeated 1972 Dolphins had two, I think there was a Steelers team that had two in Harris' days and I know Vick and Dunn did it in 2006. Probably a couple others. No, the 1972 Dolphins did not. Csonka had 1117 but Morris only had 1000. As for the 06 Falcons, Dunn had 1140 but Vick only had 1039. You're wrong. EDIT: Beaten by like 5 different people.

He's like 75% completion rate for 600 yards and 5 TD's and 0 INT's in the last 4 quarters. Granted it's against the Bears and a Giants team that's thrown in the towel but still not the numbers of a guy wearing down in December/January. Vikings have scored 61 points in the last 4 quarters. :shock: Also, the Colts are getting their butts kicked so far, too.

Well, that makes tonights game kind of interesting. I wonder what kind of trickery both teams will try to throw out there to avoid giving either team the advantage next week. If any at all.

The Vikings are walking all over the Giants. With 2:39 left in the half it's 24-0. Favre is 14/16 with 207 yds and 2 TD, Peterson has 30 yds on 6 attempts and a TD. Granted, it's the Giants, but this is far better than the Vikings have looked in a while.

Oh, and Chris Johnson needs 128 yards to reach 2000 yards on the season. He needs 233 yards to get the all-time single-season rushing record. Also, if he gets the 128 yards he needs to reach 2000 and manages to get 17 reception yards he will become the only player ever to rush for 2000 and receive for 500. I'll certainly be watching.
