  1. That'd be cool. But I'd also like to see Rivers throw another interception and then get punched in the penis. Good lord, man.
  2. Why didnt they call the timeout there? That was dumb.
  3. You are a violent, violent man.
  4. Seems like the safe bet.
  5. What the HELL is wrong with NFL kickers this year? I never, ever remember so many misses.
  6. Wooooow.
  7. If he hits the way he did in 08 then yes, it would be terrible. IF he hits the way he did in 09, then 8th isn't a bad place for him.
  8. Awesome. This is good news as far as I'm concerned.
  9. Haha, that's awesome.
  10. is injured really the right word there? No, I don't think so. That's terrible. Worst part is he apparently just had a son not too long ago. Sad story.
  11. One of my best friends goes to there. That's terrible. http://www.courierpress.com/news/2010/jan/14/usi-forward-jeron-lewis-dies/
  12. Oh for the love of god. Games will be like 5 hours long.
  13. He's still freakin huge, but I seriously doubt he's taking any 'helpers.' He couldn't be that colossally stupid, right?
  14. This has been pretty impressive by the Bulls so far. Granted, it's against a banged up team that's coming off a game last night; but still.
  15. What the hell. Did Rose even touch him?
  16. I just assume Charles is loaded any time I see him on TV. Bulls should be able to win tonight with the Celtics on a back to back and injured. Looks like they have no legs. Charles was slurring his words worse than usual. It was awesome. But yeah, the Bulls look strong right now but they'll find a way to lose. I have no faith.
  17. Lucky bastards. I'd love to be there. Or the Vikings/Cowboys game. Or, really, any of the games. All four are going to be awesome. Unfortunately it looks like I'm gonna miss all of them.
  18. Is anyone watching this Gilbert Arenas debate on the Bulls/Cavs pregame on TNT? That was freaking hilarious. Barkley sounded drunk whilst talking about his DUI.
  19. what makes it unreliable? http://www.hardballtimes.com/main/blog_article/how-reliable-is-uzr/ There's a quick little blurb about the reliability, or lack there of, of UZR.
  20. I know, right? Who wants to see stuff where people compete based on time or other tangible factors. I'd much rather see a panel of judges score the participants arbitrarily. Basically, if it's not a race or curling, it's a waste of time. Which is like 80% of the Winter games. That's really not that much different from the Summer Games. Basketball, Softball, Swimming, Track and Field, Boxing, Tennis, Volleyball, etc. There are far more games that fit TT's description in the summer games. Seriously!?! The only judged events in the winter olympics are figure skating, freestyle skiing, and snowboarding, everything else is time or point based. The summer olympics have gymnastics, diving, and synchronized swimming as judged events with the others being point/time based. Its pretty much the same. Given that, I'd rather watch people wipeout while going a bajillion miles an hour down a mountain or on a bobsled WAY more than watch people run in circles, swim laps, throw javelins, row a boat, etc. There are also far fewer events in the winter games. To each his own, though.

  22. Why? Forget for a moment that the whole number retirement thing is stupid, but it never happens immediately. Usually it waits until after a guy is inducted in the Hall. Why does it have to happen right away? Why does a guy need his number retired at all? Just because you think number retirement is silly doesn't mean everyone does. Many do, many don't. I happen to think it's a nice honor. Aside from that, I know it rarely ever happens immediately. I was mostly speaking out of what I would like to see happen. If Sammy is ever elected to the Hall I'd assume the Cubs will then retire his number soon after. I have no real problem with them not doing it yet and I don't think it's any show of "disrespect" to allow other players to wear 21. I'd just like to see it retired a.s.a.p. because he's my favorite Cub.
  23. Novoa and Fox. Ah Fox, that's right. And I completely forgot Novoa existed.
  24. Just retire 21 already, plz. Or at least take it out of commission. Also, 44 is interesting. Has anyone worn it sins Farnsworth? I cant think of any.
