    I just traded my first round draft pick in this winters Prospect draft for David Dejesus. My reasoning behind it is, this years draft pool doesnt look quite as exciting as the past two years, and I dont want to rely on torii hunter alone to be my center fielder. So anyways, What do you guys think of the trade? (oh, and i'm in last place so i'd probably end up with the first overall pick. )

    Im' still waiting to see what everybody loves about hill. That being said, i'd rather watch him struggle than rusch. Oh, and I hope we can see izturis play tonight, I cant wait to watch this middle infield!

    I assume that the nationals are going to try like no other to lock him up prior to the offseason, since they decided not to trade him. However, if for whatever reason they fail to do so, I would hope Jim Hendry would make a strong push for him. I really dont want to see a Cedeno-Izturis infield next year. That would be ugly. I never was a fan of soriano but with the numbers he's putting up in RFK, he's changed my mind. I want him at second for the cubs next year. Plz.

    I'm going to pretend I didn't see this post. There's nothing to like about having someone on the same offensive level as Neifi playing every day. Not to mention he'll be getting paid more than Neifi to be Neifi for 2+ more years. So basically you would of just kept Maddux, and let him walk for nothing? Izturis was a solid player in 04. .288 Average .330OBP 4hr 62RBI 25SB, not to mention the guy is excellent with the glove. Izturis is far worse than nothing. I would have rather given Maddux away for a ziplock bag of air. :lol: Hahahahah. *sigh* wow. this sucks.

    He'll probably sharing 3b with Bellhorn unless the Padres get another 3b. Also, the occasional start at 2b for Barfield, I'm assuming. Eh, who knows. i'll see how they use him. I'm not going anywhere this year anyways. Its a dynasty league.

    I had a waiver deal in my fantasy league where i was dropping walker. I cancelled it and chose to drop another player. I think walker will be better given playingtime.
