I wonder how much of Barrett's sudden stoppage of all things offensive had to do with taking a foul ball to the berries. He was never the same after that.

Hate to be a downer, but if you're in row 20 there may be a possible pole obstruction as the pole is located in the first couple rows of that section. You should be fine, however.

and Holds. don't forget the Holds. next year i'm going to start a 5x5 league using HBP, Caught Stealing, Pinch HR, Sac Bunt, Triples, Balks, Intentional Walks Issued, Holds, Blown Saves and Wild Pitches I'm not a big fan of the things IMB pointed out, however - even though holds are a completely pointless stat, I like using them in fantasy ball. They make relievers a little more useful. Also, there are 10 teams in my league. Small league, but not quite as small as someone (wolf?) thought. Of course, he could have read that in the very first line of my post, but hey.

Well, looks like the Sham Closer has clinched the closers job with scoreless innings on consecutive days. That is as long as he isn't sore when he wakes up in the morning. You know, cause he's brittle and stuff.

Well, he didn't seem quite as sharp as he did yesterday - but in all fairness he was filthy yesterday. He made it through the inning with 2 K's and the only hit was a single that just snuck past a diving cedeno. So, I'm guessing as long as he doesn't have any pain tomorrow he's going to be our new closer.
