OhmyGod it's going to be Freezing in that ballpark. That feels like "54" is BS, especially inside that windtunnel of a ballpark with a 15mph wind. Looks like I'm busting back out the winter cubs coat for the first time since april. And the long sleeve underarmour.

No, I haven't heard that Carol. That is interesting. first time I've heard it as well I just want to know who went to the World Series posing as the Cubs in 1910, 1918, 1929, 1932, 1935, 1938, and 1945 It was probably the brewers. Those bastards.

Eh. You just know, though, if we saw some sox fan post that we'd lament about "how they dont have anything better to do than worry about OUR team. God, they're in a playoff game tonight, shouldnt they focus on their own team, etc etc etc" I'm just sayin.

So the cubs lose this series, then? Have you ever been positive in your entire life? Of course. Just not about our ballclub. So then why even bother watching if you can't even muster up positivity (er, realism, actually) during the best season any of us have seen? I'm addicted. :? mkay. Something tells me when the cubs are celebrating a WS championship on the field you are going to be complaining about how they didnt deserve it. Wrong. In the extremely unlikely event that happens, I will be quite pleased. So give me some reason behind your belief that the cubs will lose this series. What about being the best team in the National League makes then a lesser team than the brewers. Especially when we have home field advantage considering our ridiculous record at home this year.

Look on the bright side - you could make some serious cash. I bought 2 tickets to the 200 level behind the third base dugout (215) at face value (40 a piece) and sold them on ebay for $400. You can make some serious bank off those.

Santana should worry you infinitely more than Manny. Manny can singlehandedly beat you 3 times in a 5-game series. Santana can only shut you down twice, and besides, the Cubs have 3 pitchers that are fully capable of matching zeroes with Santana for 7 or 8 innings. Uh...walk him?
