  1. Damn, he must have had some wicked acne in high school.
  2. Pugliese had decent peripherals last year in Boise. Hoping he dominates and gets bumped up. Pretty sure I remember reports of him being a low to mid 90's guy.
  3. I honestly don't think it's a 100% race thing. Part of it is just the perception of him from everyone on the outside looking in. They see error totals of his previous seasons, the whole Sunday Night Baseball incident with Bobby Valentine, and they think they can have a free pass to rip him for anything that looks remotely out of the ordinary. Plus, the guy that does PBP from the Mets is a huge douchebag.
  4. Mine was Jeffrey Baez. Was surprised he didn't make it to Boise's opening day roster. Anyway, all the guys Raisin mentioned, and maybe the Mormon kid they drafted if he ends up there.
  5. Made some custom stat pages on FanGraphs if anyone's mildly interested: Hitting: http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=bat&lg=all&qual=40&type=c,3,6,14,34,16,35,-1,23,37,38,39,-1,40,41,43,-1,102,103,110,-1,50,58,-1,11,10,9,8,-1,21,22,20,111&season=2013&month=0&season1=2013&ind=0&team=17&rost=1&age=0&filter=&players=0&sort=20,d Pitching: http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=pit&lg=all&qual=20&type=c,3,13,24,19,18,21,22,-1,36,37,38,40,-1,41,42,43,44,-1,46,51,-1,6,59,62,45,124&season=2013&month=0&season1=2013&ind=0&team=17&rost=1&age=0&filter=&players=0&sort=22,a Defense: http://www.fangraphs.com/leaders.aspx?pos=all&stats=fld&lg=all&qual=200&type=c,6,10,11,21,28,39,17,18,19,20&season=2013&month=0&season1=2013&ind=0&team=17&rost=1&age=0&filter=&players=0&sort=7,d
  6. Also, what's the deal with Frandy Delarosa? He's only played 2 games in the DSL.
  7. Had not even heard of Santana. Interesting.
  8. You don't promote a guy just because he has a crazy 2 or 3 week stretch (Unless you're Jim Hendry/Oneri Fleita).
  9. Almora is not getting promoted any time soon.
  10. I can still remember Scumbag Steve Philips with his breakdown on why the Dodgers were able to sweep the Cubs because of lack of good left-handed hitters.
  11. Oh no, it's going to be 2008 all over again.
  12. I'd give him and Almora for Buxton. That's [expletive] stupid.
  13. Looks like some pathetic attempt at facial hair. He's 19, so I'll let it slide.
  14. Almora 1-3 with a walk. Must be something wrong with him.
  15. I'm sorry, I can't put Bryant number one until I see some professional PA.
  16. thanks for making me flaccid. .722 OPS for Harvey that year. the mere mention of his name is enough.
  17. http://asiareport.ru/images/stories/persons/obama-beer.jpg
  18. If he has a shitty workout and signs with the Dodgers, I'm assuming he'll turn into Craig Kimbrel.
  19. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-PK_WeQx3_BA/T3y7jLdDIHI/AAAAAAAAAx0/_EGM84tSsSU/s1600/ARE+YOU+SERIOUS+FACE+SERIOUSLY.jpg
  20. The concept of a 5-tool player to me is basically having no below average tools. Consensus on Almora's potential is 65-70 hit, 70 defense, 60 arm, 50 speed, and 50 power. Label him as you will.
