  1. Apparently Rendon is a 3B because he lacks the ability to field anything to his right
  2. Man if they take this back it's still a double right
  3. Anthony Rizzo - All time Cubs postseason leader in HRs
  4. Too much free swinging. But then again when the ump is going to call strike 3 on that BS maybe they should swing at everything just in case
  5. I feel so much better about 8-9-1 due up next inning when it's Happ-Pitcher-Almora then when it's Javy-Pitcher-Zobrist
  6. 6 balls thrown in that AB lol Javy's approach so far as been bad even for him
  7. lmao 89 MPH exit velocity Edit: just kidding I read it wrong. 105 mph. Definitely more legit than Rendon's garbage
  8. Lester does look pretty sharp besides whatever the heck that was
  9. Not an awful first. Almora made good contact and Rizzo should have walked but the ump is human
  10. Oh man road greys? Normally I like that look better but Cubs have won 4 straight playoff games in the blues
  11. At 1:25:20.... I know you wanted a gif probably to show off but I couldn't find one [bbvideo=560,315]https://youtu.be/HZ_CBAYIwSk[/bbvideo]
  12. Honestly since Dusty left the Cubs I haven't been overly focused on him and my critique of him as a manager started to reduce itself to something about overworking pitchers, making poorly constructed lineups and fishing analogies. I completely forgot a lot of the little things that he does that kill a team such as riding a poorly performing veteran over better players (ok so kinda doing that with Zobrist) or failing to take accountability or just overall spewing a ton of dated misinformed baseball logic
  13. The other options are left handed Jay, Schwarber or Heyward or LaStella at 3B with Lester on the mound (and Bryant in OF). I'm not saying that makes starting Zo the obvious correct choice but I don't think any of the options stand out as better unless you want Heyward for defense
