  1. Come on Heyward basically lost his starting job last postseason for this type of shitty play and Heyward is 5 times the fielder. And when he did play he batted 7th or 8th.
  2. Are you sure? A stat like that and I wouldn't be surprised if Dusty wasn't slipping a note under his door every night with that stat
  3. Power Rankings, most annoying runs that would have scored in this game but didn't: 1. That run. Owned
  4. That was my thought. Oh well, Almora wouldn't have even been in the picture when that ball landed I know it's fun to make fun of Albert for being slow, but he is faster than Jay https://baseballsavant.mlb.com/sprint_speed_leaderboard?year=2017&position=&team=CHC&min=10 Yeah I saw that. My post was 100% a nod to the meme
  5. btw how annoying would that run have been if it scored? 2 outs no one on 0-2 to Werth then 0-2 to Wieters
  6. That was my thought. Oh well, Almora wouldn't have even been in the picture when that ball landed
  7. Boy, yeah, real waste of the mighty pitcher's spot there. Hah. Well clearly the pitcher spot doesn't matter, and Bryant is obviously required in the lineup and we don't have a left handed hitting SS, and it's hard to pull Willy out of the lineup even if Avila might be a better offensive fit today. Well horsefeathers I just killed my own argument.
  8. No it may be an accurate description. I think someone on the last page called him a worthless piece of horsefeathers That was me. He has no range, no arm and can't hit. We don't need to run him out there because he won us the World Series. Best nine players would be a novel concept this postseason. I have no problem criticizing him or complaining about him playing. I just think calling him a piece of horsefeathers less than a year after he had arguably the biggest hit in franchise history makes our fan base look bad
  9. This is the first time I realized that Q hits righty. So we are facing a dude that's death on righties and somehow we have 4 of them in the lineup?
  10. is washed up old guy a name? No it may be an accurate description. I think someone on the last page called him a worthless piece of horsefeathers
  11. Yeah stack the lineup with lefties but some of them should actually be good hitters
  12. I wasn't worried about it getting into the gap but I was worried about it carrying well and going into the bleachers.
  13. I'm sorry I still can't call Zobrist names. I can strongly dislike his guaranteed spot in the lineup, or his overall play, or the fact that he has 2 more years on his contract but I can't call him any negative names
  14. Not that the previous AB was a good time for it but I'm shocked Turner hasn't tried to lay down a bunt to get on base.
  15. Luckily my company randomly has Columbus Day off even though we don't get any other bank holidays. I'll take it!
  16. Q starting to throw more pitches than I would like but can't complain about the stuff and the results so far
  17. Same with Rizzo although that was offspeed. Looks like they are trying to work his pitch count and see if he reagrivates the hammy
