  1. KB dinking and dunking his way to hits now. I’d say the JHey/KB swap is almost complete
  2. This might be the worst 9 game pitching performance from one team that I’ve ever seen
  3. up to date Cubs ERAs Brach 2.25 Lester 3.00 Hendricks 4.15 Hamels 5.76 Kintzler 7.36 Darvish 8.10 Strop 9.00 Chatwood 9.82 Cishek 10.13 Quintana 10.29 Rosario 12.00 Montgomery 16.88 Ryan 27.00 Webster 27.00 Edwards 32.40
  4. Nah he’s too busy surfing Instagram to worry about his next AB
  5. Heyward and Caratini tonight: 6-6, 3 HR, 6 RBI, 4 BB
  6. Bryant with 9ks in his last 4 games after striking out just now with the bases loaded and 0 outs on a pitch way outside.
  7. Ohh so that’s why Webster has a 6.18 career ERA in 123 major league innings
  8. Lmao we’re gonna blow this one too aren’t we?
  9. Yeah but at least LF and RF will have their own concession patio areas thus reducing traffic across the concourse
  10. Cole at 93 through 5. Normally I’d expect that to be it but early in the season and with the pen in such awful shape i think he gets another
  11. He goes on little power spurts from time to time followed by months of weak groundouts to 2B
  12. 51 pitches through 2 for Cole. Looks like another game where our league worst pen will have to pitch 4+ innings
  13. Remember when we traded for Hamels and he had a ridiculously bad HR% and then he joined the Cubs and it was a lot better? Well back to old Cole
  14. This certainly sounds confident
  15. That’s not surprising at all. The only thing surprising is that it didn’t happen before yesterday’s game. He has sucked in every appearance, struggles to throw strikes, appears to have shot confidence, and was just forced to change his delivery overnight. No matter what you think of Carl long term, there is a [expletive] of benefit to letting him get his horsefeathers together in Iowa and coming back when he’s not going to be a threat to hurt the cubs every time he pitches
  16. Is that a joke? Really hoping the Cubs deliver scouting reports and/or tape to the players phones
  17. Except Brandon Kintzler for some reason
  18. Gee where have we seen that before? https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/CHN/CHN201810010.shtml
  19. Lmao. At least he didn’t walk him?
  20. Carl is in now so prob not going to happen
  21. 8-5 now. To think if our starter didn’t completely implode once again we’d be set up perfectly for our bullpen to blow it
